Quick Update on the SDA 4.4 / Ashe 1.4 Release Schedule
TL;DR: SDA 4.4 is still aiming for July 24 Early Access. Ashe 1.4 and the Asherana banter update are now going to come after SDA 4.4 instead of releasing at the exact same time. Current target for Ashe 1.4 / Asherana is late August / early September Early Access.
Hey fam, quick dev schedule update!
SDA 4.4 is still currently aiming for its July 24 Early Access release. That part of the plan has not changed.
What is changing is the broader rollout for SDA, Ashe, and the Asherana / Ashe-Serana banter update. Originally, I was trying to release everything together, but after looking at the remaining work more closely, I think staggering the releases is the better call.
This current content batch is honestly pretty huge. I’ve mentioned this before, but in terms of overall amount and scope, it’s probably one of the biggest content batches I’ve worked on, second only to Ashe’s original v1.0 release. There’s a lot of new content for Serana, a lot of new content for Ashe, and then the Ashe/Serana banter integration on top of that.
So rather than trying to cram all of that into one giant release window, I want to give each update enough room for development, testing, bugfixing, and polish.
The rough plan now is:
SDA 4.4
Still aiming for July 24 Early Access, with the public release currently planned for around August 20-ish, assuming testing goes smoothly.
Ashe 1.4 / Asherana Banter
Ashe 1.4 and the Asherana banter update will come after SDA 4.4 instead of releasing alongside it. Current target is late August / early September Early Access, with the exact date to be locked in once SDA 4.4 is closer to release.
For the Aniya-related banter/collab content, that is currently not being delayed in the same way since Ken is helping with the development side for that integration. I’ll share more details on that separately when appropriate.
Main reason for this change is just quality control. I don’t want testing and bugfixing to get squeezed too hard at the end, especially with updates this big. Staggering things should let SDA 4.4 get the spotlight first, while also giving Ashe 1.4 and the Asherana banter content the time they need.
As SDA 4.4 gets closer to Early Access, I also plan to share some previews / sneak peeks of the new Serana content. I don’t want to overpromise exactly what those previews will be just yet, but I’m excited to show some of the stuff that’s been cooking.

Thanks for your patience and support! I know schedule changes are never ideal, but I think this is the healthier route for the mods and for the final quality of the updates. Also, exciting Serana stuff first - feeding and Daedric quest stuff hehehehe.

Take your time. You’ve always done good at acknowledging when you need to push back on a release date for better quality, I know you’ll do good. Thanks as always Marty for your hard work, same goes for the rest of the team as well.
Absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of a delay to not stress yourself, and it leads to a better mod which is absolutely worth the wait
hi, i wanted to ask if in the future, if your mean to serana or ashe and you all of a sudden confess their love, are there plans for them to reject you in a asshole way?
