Thank You for Tuning In - Community Creations Con VOD

Hey guys - just wanted to say thank you to everyone who tuned in to my Community Creations Con panel this past weekend, whether you watched live, dropped by in chat, or supported from the sidelines. I was also really happy to see the panel average at nearly 100 concurrent viewers, which is honestly a great turnout for a writing-focused modding talk like this. It was my first time doing something like that, so seeing some familiar names and feeling the support really meant a lot!

For anyone who missed it, the full VOD is here:

If you’d like to jump straight to my segment, it starts at 58 min but the timestamp should already appear there.

The panel was centered on the writing and storytelling side of companion modding, using SDA and Ashe as the main case studies. I talked a lot about character voice, reactive dialogue, relationship pacing, and how I approach writing companions players actually bond with.

Also, huge thanks again to Elianora for hosting, my co-writer Lauren for joining me, and everyone involved in putting the event together.

Really grateful I got to be part of it.

Also btw, I’ll be on a short break from now until around March 26–27. I’ll still be able to read messages here and there, but replies may take a bit longer than usual, so just wanted to keep expectations aligned.

ty ty! - Marty
