I used logic a ton when I got started. Logic changed my life before I got into Ableton. Super inspiring DAW
Agree with your opening comments,I've finally given Renoise the time it needs, drums have never been a strong point but Renoise\Redux is defo helping along with your tuts. My two cents; might not be the best to learn a DAW which is similar to your main one, instead learn the more advance features of your DAW and if that does not inspire then try another DAW for a bit, I've done this countless times with Ableton, I always like to remember that Ableton is a modular system and the depth is mind blowing. Awesome vid as usual mate.
Thanks for the kind comment - glad you like the video :) Yeah, true, kind of doesn't add anything if you learn a daw thats really close to your main one. E.g., I did use Bitwig for a while (once again totally out of interest: ive been making music since 1992 so im just curious) and I won't lie its an amazing daw, but I didnt end up using it much as its so super similar to Ableton. I should use Renoise some more! My DNB single Space Donut was all Renoise work btw :)
GREAT TIPS!!! THX!
Cheers! Glad you like :)
