Improve your chopped breakbeats! (jungle)

Getting your jungle tempo breakbeats to sound as natural as possible...how? Here's how!

When going 160-170 BPM, isn't always as simple as chopping it and just copying the rhythm of the original. Sometimes it feels like some natural vibe is missing, and trust me, having chopped hundreds of breakbeats, I've been there!

Every now and then the drumloop ends up feeling too hectic, but this little tip may improve how it sounds, and I wanted to share this with you.

Could you get the same effect with Recycle? I remember reading somewhere ( a while ago) that the Stretch control takes care of this.

I don't remember! It's soooo long since I've used it, ca. 20 years. I recall it having a stretch, but technically what I am doing is not what stretching usually means: "stretching" is often algorithm-based, but my method is not. Me, I only ever want to do that very natural-sounding looping. Should prob get Recycle again and do a little checkout and test for the hell of it and also see how .rx2 works in Ableton. Sorry for not so helpful reply :)
