There is this drift of the bureaucracy where it becomes not only a self servant system, a purpose and not a mean. It kills adaptability and at the times we are, we need adaptability on every single aspect of the society. Before having children I was trying to launch a blog, as an excuse for getting a "book" or a story launched. Long story short, I asked my tax consultant, how would Patreon come on the taxes, with my normal job and all. The chap just breathed deep and said he had no clue about anything... These small things, all amount. No surprise we cannot shift from fossil fuels
Absolutely agree with above and I think this begs the question, how well can European countries cope... We love burocacy here. Cannot imagine just the decision chain to some of these actions. While adaptability is a clear requirement for the battlefield (and if you ask me life) war has moved that requirement to the government. While in the battlefield communications and initiative are key, that is absolutely not how our government work. So I think therein lays perhaps one of the biggest lessons of the war so far. To expand on the education, I have an acquaintance who is hosting some Ukrainians and they were worried on how the kids would cope. The parents said no worries mate, here the tablet and the school is online, all their friends are online and all together to therapy. To which any German with kids just has no words after the pandemic ("after")
Bureaucracy in my opinion is the ultimate killer nowadays in the "West", particularly in combination with a complete and utter failure of state in providing proper security on the streets, e.g., drug dealers, meanwhile I have to disclose everything as a YouTuber.
Wow. That was good. An aspect of this conflict that up to this moment I hadn't fully appreciated.
Thank you! Yeah, I heard a bit, but never had time to dig in or even scratch the surface.
Great Information! It shows another dimension of current life, and war.
Thank you!
