[We Were Just Kids] Progress Report - 12/1/22
So, it's been a while since I've uploaded a progress report. Mostly because I don't really see the need to pointlessly spam people with progress reports that consist of largely one sentence updates. Because the reality is, all I'm doing is refreshing the original release of We Were Just Kids. I've already stated a few times what I'm doing, so no need to delve further into it.
That said, I feel like it's been long enough to at least let everyone know where exactly I'm at with 0.3b, even if it's rather short.
- So, I'm currently about 130 renders into 0.3b with 60 or so to go - if I were render-for-render remaking the original 0.1 release. But I'm not. Those 60 renders are part of the original park scene, which is one of the scenes is being rewritten. With the removal of the any outright sex in that scene, it's going to shave off about 12-ish renders along with whatever else I decide to prune.
- Everything has been written/rewritten to an adequate extent currently. I'll likely rephrase/add as I'm editing and/or proofreading, but there's no writing left to do.
- So, aside from the park scene and a couple single renders I'd like to fix (which I probably won't do this release, but through future ones.), all that's left to do is animations and postwork.
So, that's really about it (which enforces my point on the open paragraph). There's still some stuff I want to fix, but it's mostly BTS-esque stuff. Like normalizing the audio and get some actual work done on that credits page I've been referencing for a while now, but that can obviously wait.
I appreciate the patience for what's been a longer process than I've expected. Hopefully it isn't too much further out.
- MissFortune.
