[Move The Chains] | S01E05.P2 | Play Sheet #23
I'm aware I missed the last Play Sheet and this one is a few days late. Has a fair bit to do with what I mentioned in the last Play Sheet. As I said said, it wasn't the most positive post in the world. Not super MTC related, though.
I'll do a follow up post to this about it after this. To keep it short here, it's mostly IRL work related (or lack thereof.)
All that being said, rendering hasn't slowed down a ton.
We're currently on the fifth scene of the update, which will likely be the shortest scene. Putting us at around 667 renders. There's another planned scene or two, but they largely act as a carryover to Part 3 and are shorter as a result.
There's still the renders to do for the if/else stuff, again, mostly on NSFW scenes.
So, the game will likely be in the next update. As a bit of a precursor, it's highly likely that it'll take up a significant portion of Part 3. Between time making jerseys and such, it could also take a bit longer.
To that end, I'm wonder if keep names off of jerseys might speed things along. Might hurt realism a little, but it is what it is.
Getting closer to starting animations, but not quite there yet.
Same general process as last update. Story/Still Renders > Animations > Rendering > Writing + Code > so on.
Translations are being worked through up to Part 1.
French is now completed.
Spanish (Latin American) and Spanish (Spain) have been completed.
Brazilian Portuguese has been completed.
German is likely next.
I keep meaning to get around to a correction system. Still deciding best approach. Google Form still feels like the smartest. Maybe github.
Still need to implement fonts and the flags for selector. Shouldn't take long at all.
Still no dates. I'd love to have the update ready in November, but hard to say if that'll actually happen.
Still planning to upload mentioned style change posts before I start postwork. Might just be saved for Season 2 at this point, though, if it does happen. Only for the sake of consistency.
There's some preview renders up top. Excuse the noise as they're pretty heavy scenes with not a lot of iterations and no postwork. Obviously final versions won't look like this. Good bit of work done since, still a bit to do. But that's about it for now.

I say leave the names, buts that's just my opinion. As far as an update, take your time and don't rush it. Let yourself cook. I've played what you've released so far and its amazing. Easily Top Shelf and one of my all time favorites. Move the Chains is definitely in my Top Five alongside BaD, Leap of Faith and Artemis. And MtC's got some of the best looking visuals I've seen in any visual novel. For myself, I'm with you till the end of the line.
We’ll be waiting! The renders are very beautiful. Good luck!
Love to hear that, looking forward to continue !!! Happy Halloween guys ! 🫡💯🧟
