Harem Club scene in Episode 3.
Yes. Another poll. Go months without do any and now there's two?
For anyone who's played Episode 3, there's a short scene where MC runs into the president of the fake harem club. It's a light jab at a certain someone and kind of tongue in cheek. But some players (seemingly pirates, mostly) are seeming to either A) take offense or B) claim it's pulling them out of the game.
It tends to be fairly quiet around here for most things (which I appreciate), but sometimes I need a bit of help. So, that said, should I keep the scene in the main game or just move it to the ever-growing Politically Incorrect Patch?

Edit: Sorry to bother you guys again with an edit on this post, but there seems to be a slight misunderstanding with the comments. This was never an attack on harem players. It'd be stupid to go after players themselves (in many cases.). It was a jab at a post in relation to 'building the proper harem' and a particularly obnoxious singular user (and the shitshow it created) that took it way too seriously. And a little bit of Braindrop, obviously. But that's just poking a little fun at it.

Leave it in the main game!
I play both games (and many more), and seriously that scene was hilarious, I love a game that have serious topics, and at the same time have really fun scenes and situations.
Be jealous about BrainDrop all you want. At least he give players and option on if the girls have dicks attached to them or not. Just that alone will always make him a better dev then your spitful envious self. All while making more money too since he doesnt talk down to his playerbase
Go look up the definition of jealousy. Never said anything about his finances, his success, his players. Zilch. The part about him was a tongue in cheek reference to WVM being a sex cult, hence harem bible. Where did I talk down to anyone beyond the mentioned individual (Faxe) in the game? Get your facts straight.
I honestly could NOT stop laughing when I played that scene - as well as the comments made while watching basketball (being someone who has also played WVM). I enjoyed the playfulness of it and didn't feel like it pulled me out of the story.
Please keep it in the main game, as many have said, that kind of humor is lacking in games and I really miss it; also the jabs at WVM are very welcoming (as much as I liked playing WVM, that doesn't mean I automatically have to like/love Braindrop as a person/dev)
leave it in its not exactly 4th wall breaking and given the tone overall a little levity here and there is great
I haven't even got to that part but I vote to keep it in cause I'm not a snow flake who gets offended and whines like a whiney little baby who whines.
It didn't bother me at all.
I voted to move to PIP only because it was definitely a bit of silliness that may or may not be needed. It would not offend me if it was left in. Though I can see how some may think it 'ruins the immersion' but in the end I think it could go either way.
I voted to remove it but not because I was offended - I just thought it was kinda weird and ill-fitting due to how ridiculous it was and the game for the most part gives me the impression the dev is trying to aim for a serious adult story with sexual elements (my fav type). IMO it makes more sense to not have something like that in there in order to keep the story as serious / immersive as possible.
It's funny and sadly close enough to reality that it didn't disrupt my suspension of disbelief, Also this is top teir. Take any advice with a ton of salt your doing awesome.
I really enjoy the constant jabs towards WVM... keep at it ! It lights my day.
there should be a jab at him taking forever to deliver an update.. thats the true jab where it hurts
You can't please everyone, there will always be those that are unwilling to accept what can be. They will resist. I think the poll results says all that needs else be said.
Personally I found it fun, maybe it dragged on slightly more than necessary, but nothing too obnoxious for me still
In my case even tough i understood what you where doing. I did not find it funny and I think that insulting people even if they are saying dumb shit is counterproductive and only make them more irritable and make them lash out more. And it really does not help immersion since it does not have any relation with the rest of the game. If you want to make this kind of satyre it should be more subtle and make people think instead of going down to their level

Haven’t played the game yet but I did see a screenshot of the scene and even as a harem lover I thought it was funny, people taking it too seriously

Pirate feedback is worthless. Shit was hilarious.
And that type of scene keeps me a pirate, I have subbed when updates dropped to many games, and am willing to in future, even if I play early on those sites, but things like this ruin my immersion. And I didn't find it funny, not everyone has same sense of humor. Joined real quick just to say this.
