Walkthrough for Patreon version of Move the Chains?
I'm right in the middle of coding the walkthrough and achievement system for the Steam version of MTC. And for the sake of avoiding confusion later on, I've been wondering if I should just make it available for Patreon version, as well. However, adding this now would require another restart for the Patreon version as there'd be a few backend changes.
As I've said before, I want to avoid restarts, if at all possible. But I feel like doing it this way would prevent more future issues from cropping up. So, there's three ways, I could really see this happening.
1 - Leave the Patreon version as is, and don't worry about the walkthrough stuff.
2 - I'm fine with another restart, just make it the last one.
3 - Add an option at the beginning of beginning of the game to skip to the end of Episode 2, with a list of Yes/No choices that would've otherwise been made playing the game again.
Option 3 is obviously the most ideal here, but I don't know if I'm capable of coding it to work correctly. I can give it my best show, though. That being said, your opinions matter to me. It's stuff like this that helps shape the game.
Thanks,
-MF.

Games pretty short so far, so a restart shouldn't be bad :)
🎉🥳🔥💋♥️
I would be in favor of skipping to the end of the current content by asking a few questions about variables (choices made) just to get started quicker.
Game is early enough that restarts don't hurt so much. Veteran players know not to set up 100000 saves until things get pretty settled.
its still really early in this game, a restart shouldn't be too overly disruptive :)
the game ain't that long to complain about a redo (if you skip dialogues) I have another suggestion: Contact MrBubu (patreon.com/MrBubu) to see if he's willing to do an official Walkthrough PDF for Move the Chains.
I don't mind another restart as long as I can skip forward to options and stop at the changed scenes.
