MPO awards show!
Hi all,
We've put together the video for the awards. Some great stuff from the judges, so if you're nerdy about paint ( which i'm assuming you are if you're subscribed to us!!) then this is one to watch.
The support you guys give us here is a huge reason that we are able to push ourselves to put on shows like the MPO and we really do appreciate it. So thankyou.
You've got a good few vids coming up from Andy over the next week, and I'll see you in the new year for a triumphant return to Patreon!!
Cheers, Henry

I love that you put a suit on Henry
Thank you guys for providing a platform for everyone's awesome work, this was my first compition ever! I'm very new to this hobby and was curious if you felt the standard category was appropriately represented? I did not expect to see so many award winning painters in standard? Maybe I misunderstood but I thought it was more for intermediate people? Either way cheers and thanks for all your hard work.
I guess the simplest way to explain it is that not all awards are created equal, and some people may lack confidence. It is always up to the artist which level they chose to enter at, and withbitbheing an open system it doesn't affect who is awarded a gold/silver/bronze. There was also an event of human error. Some things emded up in a different level to that which the entrant had chosen. We're already working hard on next year's entry system to try and prevent that happening.
