Exodite Part 1 - Scales Scales Scales Scales Scales Scales Scales
Hey everyone,
I believe this is a safe space for me to talk a full 40 minutes on just painting scales. Starting to go slightly nuts by the end but I'm working on the rest of the model now and it's moving much faster. I hope you enjoy!

Here for all the scales you can throw at us. Can we get a Smaug vid please ;-)
Really appreciated the dissection of the paint process at the start of the video. It really helped me understand the concepts demonstrated in the second half. Thanks Andy.
This is exactly the type of video I love.
Super clear, informative and useful - please feel free to do deep dives like this as often as you want as we're definitely here for this! Cheers Andy.
Always interested in your thought process about colours schemes and the application there of so keep it up.
Yep, definitely here for this!
Would you say there is at least 75 of them?
I can confirm that we are absolutely here for this.
I feel your pain! I painted the left hand side of one of my dragons a couple of weeks ago and haven't gone back to finish him due to 'scale trauma'!! 😂
