Cult UPDATE!
Hi all,
Hope you had a good weekend.
Just a little update to what's going on with the various Cult of Paint platforms.
Youtube Channel - Regular tutorials - Free -https://www.youtube.com/@cultofpaint
Culture of Paint - Recorded live on Twitch every other Friday morning - Free - https://www.twitch.tv/cultofpaint
Culture of Paint - Edited version uploaded to Youtube - Free - https://www.youtube.com/@cultureofpaint
Hobby Hangout - Recorded live on Twitch Monday evenings - Free - https://www.twitch.tv/cultofpaint
Patreon tiers - There will be a small price increase to both tiers soon - THIS DOES NOT AFFECT CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS, YOU'LL STAY ON YOUR CURRENT PRICING UNTIL YOU CHOOSE TO LEAVE. We're not looking to gouge anyone, but we've never changed prices since we started, and this seemed the fairest way to do it. In-depth tutorials from Andy, blog posts from Ben, hobby videos from me, and upcoming PDF tutorials from Ben too.
Discord - Now primarily Subscribers only. You just need to link your accounts -
Connect Accounts and Server
Log in to Patreon using a desktop web browser (mobile apps do not fully support the initial setup).
Go to your Settings from the left navigation menu.
Click on the Apps tab (or select More and then Connected Apps).
Click the Connect button next to Discord and log into your Discord account via the pop-up window.
The reason for making Discord subs only is that I want to utilise it more and make sure that we are giving you guys the best service we can. If you've not used it before, it is very similar to old-fashioned forums. You can post, you can lurk, etc., and it's a great way for us to be able to keep an eye on what our Cult community wants from us.
There are all the other projects too, but I don't think there's anything specific to announce for any of them yet.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you again for all your support. The Cult has undergone some changes over the last 12 months as we've made adjustments to the business. These have always been done with a view to ensuring our longevity, authenticity, and consistency. We've not nailed everything the first time, but I'm confident we're settling into the new way of doing things now, and I hope you can already see the positive changes we've been up to.
As ever, if there's anything you'd like to see/hear from us, then please get in touch. Ben and I are monitoring all the various message places! I'd love to know what you'd like to see more of from us.
You're all legends, catch you soon.
Henry

Trying to connect my patreon but getting a weird error saying I need to verify my email and phone number, but they're verified already in both apps
I think it can take 10-20 mins for stuff to complete.
Very happy to continue to support, CoP is worth it, best painting style and teaching on the ‘tube!
Sorry, I think I'm on now
3. Check Channel & Server Permissions If you can see emojis in some places but the reaction panel or specific custom emoticons are completely missing in a specific channel: You might lack server permissions. Administrators can block specific roles from using reactions or using external custom emojis. Test to see if the emoji panel opens when you are in your Direct Messages (DMs). If it works there, the issue is strictly a restriction on that specific server.
Hi Henry, I've finally got access to your Discord Channel, however I don't seem to be able to "add a reaction" to the pinned message (No emoticons visible). Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks
