Awesome to see the finished Beastmen chief, how did you paint the metallics?

Cult of Paint · August 26, 2025

Iron warriors, rattling/garaghaks sewer wash, oil wash.

Love the finish on the green headtuffs and cloth! going to find a usecase for that in my color schemes! <3 Any chance you'll be doing more Sisters of battle videoes/updates?

C
Cult of Paint · August 9, 2025

Thanks! I absolutely will be doing more sisters over the next 12 months.

Love this, I would like to see you tackle the longma - it's kicking my arse

Henry getting obsessed with a new army every time he does a deep dive is a tale as old as time by now XD Great video though! Especially the thought-process! Keep it up!

Really loved this video and can't wait to see where the army goes. Look forward to it being at MPO next year too.

Really enjoy these in depth videos and looking forwards to seeing more! I’d be really keen to see how you’d approach the banners in the army, plus if you do the lancers I think some horse skin/coats? could be really cool, really liked seeing that in the empire video you did a few months ago

C
Cult of Paint · July 12, 2025

Yeah I'll definitely cover more horse stuff for that video.

Fab, I’m always happy with a longer-format video! Appreciate the colour wheel theory at the beginning, makes sense for an army project like Cathay which doesn’t have preset schemes associated with it, unlike something like Space Marines chapters / legions.

Brilliant, looking forward to the next one 🙂 thanks for the product links, have the sander, but never thought of putty drill bits in there!

Lovely video, very much liking the paint scheme and thank you for talking through your thought process. It’s very helpful. Quick question if I can; what is the name of the drill and drill bit set that you used in the video to drill into the heads? If you have any product links that’d be very helpful. Thanks.

I really really enjoyed that! Looking forward to following along the journey of this army painting project. Happy to see more Fantasy/AoS instead of 30k/40k. 😅 Interested to see how you do the basing and if glueing the models on the bases already will become a problem, especially if the basing gets more elaborate. Or maybe it's a tiny amount of super glue and you can just pop them back off. Cheers!

I'll talk about that a bit in the vid ( but essentially I tried one off and one on!)
