Would love a pdf of this
This was super helpful. Always struggle with horns. Next up, a different types of Stone, followed up by a Wood series? ;-)
Wood and stone from me this week! Andy
Fantastic!
Great addition to the technique library! I have that orc shaman and will absolutely reference this once I start painting him. Also, just realized that the US Olive Drab from Vallejo I have is a hint greener than yours, it’s 70.887. Didn’t go by the numbers when I picked it up at the hobby store, just saw the name and grabbed it. Why on earth would they name two different paints the same name? 🙈 Well, it’s still a nice color so nothing lost I guess.
US Olive Drab is 70.887 and then there is 70.889 which is Olive Brown. I think in the video those names and numbers got mixed up.
…resisting the urge to make lots of bad innuendo jokes… But seriously, absolutely fantastic effect on both Henry - the combined techniques of using the primer coat, adding multiple thin layers in texture patterns and adjusting the hue in the mid tone are definitely the way to go. I may just have to buy a box of Ossiarch Bonereapers now… 🤔🤓
the levels of restraint were exhausting
Lovely video Henry!! I paint skeletons, bonereapers and ghouls so this video feels especially made for me haha!
Preview pic is looking absolutely stellar! 😱
