Imperial Kindred Sea Guard
Here we have one of the highlights of the month: the Sea Guard unit.
The unit's strategos is ready to lead his soldiers, accompanied by a Griffhound and a squire bearing his weapons.
We've created some amphora fillers with dates, which, like the griffin, help to keep the front line more open. This ensures that important figures like the standard bearer and the musician are not obscured, despite being placed in the second line.
You also have options to equip the soldiers with bows. You can mix and match, or create complete units with the equipment of your choice.
The standard, true to the tradition of the elves, features a sea drake.

I love the armour and helmet designs! Although sceptical of the standing poses initially, I think it's quite fitting - its as if they're on a ship getting ready to land somewhere. Amazing as usual 🙌
They look very good although i do agree that they need their bows slung over their shoulders, doesnt make sense to have a quiver if they arent carrying their bow and they are supposed to be a dual wield unit. Id also like to see the trident variant as makes them stand apart from spear men.
Previous iteration had the back slung bow and the trident which in my mind was a better variant, these are lacking.

Como todos vuestros elfos, la estética es muy bonita. Lo que me parecen más lanceros comunes que guardias del mar. Quizá con tridentes como en la unidad anterior tendrían otro aire. Y otro aspecto es que la guardia del mar no lleva o lanzas o arcos, sino que lleva ambos. Por ejemplo se hace raro ver que los que llevan lanzas tienen el carcaj colgando pero el arco no. Aún así es un gran trabajo
Pero la guardia del mar de Gw es estrictamente eso, lanceros con arcos. Pero desde lejos podrían pasar por lanceros perfectamente. Aqui les hemos añadido capotes marineros en sustitución de las escamas de la infanteria y cascos con aletas de dragon marino. Además los cascos los teneis intencionadamente mas discretos por si queríais mantener esa simplicidad, o mas llamativos para los que prefieran remarcar el estatus de elite. El tridente era la diferencia final. Veremos si llegamos o no. Pero solo quedan 3 dias reales, y bastante trabajo.
A primera vista, el diseño de los cascos nuevos no me gusta. Y las ánforas no acaban de cuadrarme mucho en la unidad, y quedan extrañas con el oficial pasando revista pero bueno, son opcionales xD. Un saludo

We still have to sculpt a complete character and finish the dragon. We'll see how the month ends, and if there's time, we'll try to do it, but I can't guarantee it.
