Very nice. If you put these militiamen in a set with the witchhunters and some vampires, you have a great skirmish-style vampire hunting game.

im liking the peasant rabble look so far ! :) .... but as we know peasants tend to die in droves !!... so casualties will be necessary ! ;)

In this case we are trying to represent an improvised unit created with the residents of a village or a town: The images that you propose could also be done, but it is more like the militia of a city in which the city equips the irregulars. They are two slightly different visions. But as in the case of zombies, I think the militia will need several releases to be able to give it as much variety as we'd like, so I don't think it would be a problem to make one of them focused on that type of unit if that's what you want. If you notice we are also trying to make them work in both renaissance and medieval settings. So while we start building the army of Equitania, they are miniatures that can also be useful.

Looks more like a peasents unit to me I wished they look more like mercenarys... so I am not too excited for this release.

Same here, The first three focused releases were excellent, this release seems a bit lacking. Maybe it is, because the other 3 months were spectacular.

Well I think what he’s going for is the peasants taking up arms. Not actual men at arms.

Was this directed at me? If yes: Those are only infos for their folder, if they don't have them already. Furthermore: Have you checked out the images? I do differenciate between peasants and everything else. The last one especially shows the contrast between peasant-farmers and 'regular soldiers' (men at arms are above regular or somewhat higher regular soldiers, that are almost as well equipped as knights and includes knights as well). Because I didn't ask for them to be knights.^^ Only if they could get the odd breast plate, plated arm or some helmet. In that way, they wouldn't even look very different to classic warhammer militia (who are based on the Bauernkriege.)

Not bad. Just as a suggestion or inspiration: You could give some of them a bit of armor (helmets, breast-plates, most definetely chainmail) and swords as well as flails and halberds/bills, as they would have plundered local armories to supply themselves. Here are some late 15th early 16th century "Bauernkriege"-images from the farmer's uprising in the Holy Roman Empire: https://img.welt.de/img/geschichte/mobile207185315/1302500467-ci102l-w1024/German-Peasants-War-Kaempfende-Bauern-im-Bauernkrieg-Deutscher-Bauernkrieg-1.jpg https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f8/Titelblatt_12_Artikel.jpg https://c7.alamy.com/compde/bhd708/ereignisse-deutscher-bauernkrieg-1524-1526-ritter-von-pfangern-gefangen-genommen-holzschnitt-von-hans-leonhard-scheuflin-16-jahrhundert-bhd708.jpg https://www.schule-bw.de/faecher-und-schularten/gesellschaftswissenschaftliche-und-philosophische-faecher/landeskunde-landesgeschichte/module/epochen/neuzeit/bauernkrieg/hilzingen/kirchweih.jpg (noticably spears) https://c7.alamy.com/compde/bjw8nx/ereignisse-deutscher-bauernkrieg-1524-1526-soldaten-die-ein-gehoft-angreifen-kupferstich-von-domenicus-custos-ca-1560-1612-16-jahrhundert-historisch-deutschland-1525-angriff-kampf-kampf-verteidigung-waffen-waffen-bauern-aufstand-aufstand-volk-bjw8nx.jpg here is a nice contrast to "regular" troops from mid 16th century
