Evolution of the Patreon in the coming months.
Hi guys.
First of all I would like to thank you, on behalf of the whole Last Sword team, for helping us get this far. Without you it would not have been possible.
Although in many occasions you only talk to me, you have achieved that 5 people are already living from this, and the team continues to grow little by little to provide us with new capabilities.
So thank you very much.
The change of format seems to be slowly bearing fruit and we have broken the stagnation of the last few months. So we can consider it more than a success.
This leads us to a slight change of mechanics. As the army cycles are going to be three months long, from now on we will try to make voting coincide with those cycles.
Therefore, this month you will vote for the next month of elves, so that no one who is really interested in this particular range will be left out. When it comes to humans, humans will be voted, and in the rotating range, we will choose the next range to rotate.
So in a few days I will put up the poll about the next new elves.
Right now and if I'm not mistaken, for the majority games we are only missing the rangers, and the dragon rider units. If you think we are missing any more, please let me know.
So the next steps will be to complete the generic army and the imperial lineage with the missing thematic units, or to start the development of another thematic range.
For the thematic ranges, we are mainly thinking about the Lion, the Navy and the Queen's armies. If you have any other suggestions, we would also like to hear from you.
And well, this is all for the moment. I'm waiting for your opinions, you know we value them very much.
Greetings to all :)

Hola, chicos.

Congrats on the wonderful progress! Out of curiosity, are you looking at expanding any of the chaos-esque range at all?
It depends a bit on what you vote for. If we see that they get stuck, we'll probably release them out through kickstarter. Our intention is not to leave them abandoned, because they are also very important races in the lore we are working on.
An army standard bearer would be fantastic too, on foot and on horseback.
You do spectacular work, I'm glad you guys are doing well 🙌
Rangers (Dual Weapons), Shadow Warriors (Melee/Bows), Sisters of Avelorn(Magic Bows) still needed for the basics on the elves,
Thank you Jefferson, we take note
First up really glad to hear that things are getting better with the new system of releases :) One thing I would say as a thought, perhaps more for the future than right now, is that whilst many people can collect STLs for ages, many will also burn out once they've got a "complete army" or three or four. Once they are printing an army or two they'll often focus in on that force and even if you keep releasing awesome models, many might drift away because they can't print 3 armies a year and paint and game with them and all. So my one thought for the future is to keep an eye on existing armies that are "completed" and to think of things to add. Fun things like your war-planning table that you did a short while back; original units, unique heroes; new poses for infantry troops etc... Things which can tempt people back to add just a little more to their current army
Yes, that's exactly the idea, to be able to give you things that when you are worried about simply completing an army list you put aside for not being useful or being more restrictive. Gw talks about cracia, but has never developed cracia beyond the lions. Even in their heraldry book, they are still generic soldiers with some element of the lion. We want to develop them further and see how you can combine them with the range we already have. Jefferson Thacker has already done things like this, and we really like it when we see it.
Aha, that's an excellent idea, that the people that subscribed for i.e the elves month can vote for the next elves months.. Empire for Empire and so on. Very good!
