September: Ducal Guard of Avernia
Here is the first thematic month. We didn't manage to finish the chivalry master, but overall we are very satisfied with the achievements.
Especially the griffin, the third one we sculpted, and I think we managed not to make it look too much like the previous ones, and the command group diorama, another of those pieces that mark our particular style.
This month we are going to work on the Fallen County, taking up the Darklance Vampire clan.
You will have a foot and undead griffin version of Baroness Arassne Darklance. And the mounted version on horseback and on the same Griffin of his "Castellan".
We know that undead griffins do not exist but we find it a very interesting alternative to the mounts of a mortarch or the Terrirgheist.
There will be a Black Coach, halfway between this and the Coven Throne. It is perhaps the most challenging piece this month.
And finally a cavalry unit, following the line started with the infantry from our undead Kickstarter a few years ago.
At the end of this month we will also start the polls to decide on the next three-race pack we will work on. With them decided, we will see the concrete content in the course of October.
I hope you like the new mechanics :)
A big hug to all of you and thanks for being here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, I am little bit lost, where is it possible to find the September release, I didn't receive any link (or I didn't find it).
Links are removed on the last day of the month. I have just delivered all those that have been privately requested. If you are missing them, write me and I will send them to you in the next revision I do.
Hi fantastic release ! The feet of some of the Ducal Guard on foot are missing their toes.
No Lionel. There are different types of boots, some longer and some shorter like in reality. And although it is more work, we wanted to represent it also in the miniatures.
Above and beyond. These things are AMAZING. Wonderful job, everyone!
I need to print this models to be in the same scale of old gw empire series to stay coerent with the rest of the army. Does anyone tried to scale down and print? I'm quite worried about the resistance of the really thin parts like swords blade and similar. Any suggestions on how to approach this problem to achieve objective?
Gw does not follow any scale. The sixth edition box has 28mm, 32mm and 34mm miniatures. The infantry has one scale, the command group another and the general is huge. The plastic cavalry is 32-34 with horses designed for 28mm. The seventh edition general miniature is 36mm. And all this without going into the actual miniatures or the forge range. They are probably the brand with the worst scale management in the miniature world. Intentionally to make their own miniatures obsolete. Our human miniature is 30-32. There is more difference in proportion than in scale. I personally have an army of over 40k points painted from the empire, so I wouldn't touch the scale.
totally unrelated: can I find a presupported, best case scenario hollowed out version, boiler for the steamtank?
The final version is in the wellcome pack
I'm new to this so sorry for a really dumb question. I joined this month to this Patreon to get: - Duke of Avernia (versions on foot or on horseback) -Duke on Griffin -Wild Griffin -Knights of the Ducal Guard -Ducal Guard on foot Are those files already available from somewhere?
I've just published the files of the month. You have the link in this post, or in the list of updates :)
gracias
I like the new format! Do you know roughly how often you will revisit a race, every third month or something like this?
I came here for the Amazons and Elves. Which now has led to getting perfect proxies for a 100 year Post ASOIAF Lannister concept I've been kicking around! Great job!
Since the monthly release happens on/around 16th, does that mean the previous month's release is available until the 15th of the following month?
No. Only until the last of the previous month. Or if you had been subscribed back then, you can ask them via pm.
I'm confused, what do we get for our monthly membership? The Treasure Chest is suposed to get 8-30 miniatures, but I never saw any links for August.
August was paused, but you should have been able to download July (within the August-days only), if you joined in August and paid, I think.
How can one access the special offer thats pictured?
Become a patreon of them
Nothing is better than your miniatures!!!
Excellent release!
new here excellent sculpts will be some fine additions to my 6th edition empire army griffon while impressive might not work but the rest will
Seeing them all together like that is awesome , really like this new format ! can i suggest something i would love added is maybe a casualty figure or two !? .... i know it seems weird but when guys die i like to represent them with a casualty figure ! :)
We will see if it is possible with the elves. I don't know if it makes much sense in the undead.
These look absolutely AMAZING. Seriously. I'm surprised an entire line could be done in a month. Take care of yourselves... Moving forward, pushing yourselves like this every month is crazy!
Increíble trabajo. Un abrazo a vosotros. Aquí estamos y aquí estaremos, seguid así!
Looking awesome as usual, don't suppose we can get a helmeted version of the Griffin rider too can we please? 😃
While I also would love "another" helmet-pose (You never can get enough), I think you can just use the head from the horse-version, as they are usually almost all modular. If not, it would be indeed a "shame".
What about the Kinghts Panther Grandmaster we get him later?
This month the Freak Wars condition everything. So it's very difficult to tackle it now. It's a miniature I want to make personally, so I'll look for a space to put it in later.
These are all absolutely fantastic. Well done, guys. Looking forward to October already! When are you doing your next kickstarter?
we would like it at the end of September. We will see if it is possible.
Absolutely fantastic !!!
Everything looks amazing!
