Also, a thunderlizard inspired by Rodrigo Vega's design would be PHENOMINAL!!! Could be over like 6 months. They are very large pieces and are very difficult to tackle while maintaining the level of detail we would like. I'm not saying that we won't do them in the future, but we have to be very clear about the way, so that it doesn't become a ruin in time. Maybe the formula is that we sculpt it in dead time, and then launch it in a kickstarter. We will think about it

Different things is all nice, but not at the cost of more lizards. ;-). I really like the Atanacas and will use for them my Chaos army, but I think this poll should have been purely about lizards. Atanacas + Amazons should be a total seperate thing as you did with Elves, Vampires and Chaos.
Right now the capacity we have for sculpting without compromising on quality is for 3 units and 2 or 3 characters per month. To try to tackle more is to get our fingers burnt. To increase this is problematic at all levels, supports, testing, web...we would have to grow a lot to make another leap in quantity.
What's up with non Lizards getting such high votes?
I don't know why you are surprised. The Atanacas have already been voted out. There is a sector that wants different things.
