Purifier - Imperial Kindred Archers
Hi Guys.
This is the month of the unexpected and I had to go on a trip for a few days.
We already have most of the month of February sculpted, so I will show it to you during the week.

This unit had me thinking: since this is an "imperial elf" theme, what if the elves had auxiliaries, like the Romans did? Of tribes or peoples conquered in the past that now supply troops to the Elf Empire. That reminded me of Miniaturas Ezipion, which did a Roman Orc kickstarter some years ago. Admittedly, your elves are more based on Greek/Asian imagery, but still, it might be fun.
Our friend ezipion makes historical transpositions too literal for my taste. We rely a lot on history, but we try to create unique identities for each race, not take a human identity and apply it to them. But the idea is that these are auxiliary troops. In fact it's an idea that's been around since the beginning of the range. If you look at all the troops that carry banners, they are actually auxiliaries. The troops that should be the core of the army, carry draco ensigns, which are created in the image of the Roman eagles. In the future, we would like to include human auxiliaries, centaurs and perhaps other races in the elven armies to represent the races of their empire.
Awesome, you can do elves like no one else, and the rest is sweet also :-)

The arrow supply cart is just amazing. I love these secondary characters and details you put in all the units!
Y el carro de flechas ya es lo más
Me parece una unidad espectacular. Las poses, los arcos, las trenzas y distintos peinados... Top!
