Totally agree. In my case it would be something more Stormcasty. But having rider and steed fully separate makes life much easier for the kitbashers among us. Looking at you, general on griphon.

Mmmm, Good work so far, if i can provide my criticisms. The head and beak seems small in proportion to its rear-end and it lacks the strong chest and scale other non horse mounts. It does for now seem to be the ugly ducklings half horse brother. I understand looking to make your own spin on other available models but i think the formula of the Demi/Hippo should stay close the original. I love your work and i hope my words have positive effect.
