Scenery
Seeing the results of the Kickstarter we have a query we ask.
In the elves kickstarter the option with scenography is being the most followed option. We wonder if you would like us to add a similar option here.
It would be done by a new specialist sculptor, and would probably cost 6 eruros on its own or 14-15 euros with the whole miniature pack.
We can approach it in several ways, with large secnografia for fdm, or with smaller and more detailed pieces for resin. Maybe one of each per month.
What do you think?

I would be happy to buy themed terrain packs for resin printers, getting a terrain piece for a random army each moth doesn't sound like a good. idea. Why not do a mini kick starter for theme terrain pack. It is also possible to do some rather large terrain pieces with resin, it just has to be split into pieces, a bit more design work.
During the summer I have been printing a ship for a customer. The ship is over three feet long. We bought a printer specifically for the job. In the end we had to print it in FDM because the resin generated deformations that were impossible to correct. And that's assuming price is not an issue. And in this case it wasn't. Unfortunately resin has limitations, it's not only a question of parts.
I just wanted to mention I voted for not interested only because I have a pile (I mean at least a terabyte or more) to still do. That said, depending upon it’s nature I might find myself drawn into being a supporter,
that there are more stls than anyone will ever print is clear to all of us :) Thank you very much for your message
I'm only interested in resin. However, the resin printers are getting bigger, so I wouldn't limit it to just small pieces. Plenty of other Patreons release larger terrain pieces (whole and also cut for the smaller printers). I'm open to either using the same Patreon or creating a new one just for the terrain/scatter pieces. Either way you decide to go you need more than just a couple pieces...I'd say perhaps 15+ pieces for a separate Patreon or 5-10 for this one. Here's me being very transparent with you guys... First of all, I use these to play D&D...I'm not a wargamer or painter. I support about 25 artists per month (here and on MMF Tribes). I support as many as I can, but I have to make decisions every month based on quality and value, as well as the set for that month's release. The more popular ones that give around 20 models per month, or 10-15 models + terrain, are the ones that I support every month. The others that have smaller sets need to have VERY good quality/detail, and usually they also have loyalty rewards for 3 consecutive months. Occasionally I am able to support some of the others if they have a really good set for something I need. You guys have the quality I'm looking for, and a decent number of models. However, you seem to be having multiple themes...which is an OK way of trying to accommodate various supporter interests. But for me, using the November release as an example, I'm very interested in the Temple Guard, but couldn't care less about the vampire stuff or the elven bolt thrower stuff. So the $11.50 price had me deciding whether to stay this month or not...but the Temple Guard made me stay. Here's where the terrain comes into play...you have to remember you're competing with some larger Patreons and your Patreon is slightly more expensive than most. However, if you also added perhaps 5-10 terrain/scatter pieces to go with the release it would make the decision to stay with you for $11.50 much easier. If you don't already have a 3-month loyalty reward, that would help as well. If you have 2 Patreons, this one and a terrain one, I might support both each month, or I might support one or the other depending on what the set included. Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but I hope that helps. I think you guys make some excellent sculpts, but you're competing against other Patreons that give more for less.
Hi Rob. First of all thank you for your opinion. Regardless of whether we like it more or less. They are perspectives that are good for us to know. About the cost of the patreon remember that you have an option of 5 euros if you are only interested in something in particular. It is not necessary to pay for everything if you are not interested, although we appreciate it. Regarding the one to several Patreons it doesn't really change anything. In fact it is detrimental that we have several for you for not being able to offer a joint reward. But you can always move between the tiers. If you are interested in scenery you have the tier for scenery, the two of figures that we have right now, and finally we would have one with everything. As for what is cheap or expensive a patreon we could debate a lot. For example many patreon use 2-3 T poses to generate all the miniatures of the month. 9. This month we have used 7 different anatomical bases. Next month there will be 9. I can think of a certain patreon that once mentioned in the comments, that has been using a single T pose for all his miniatures for 3 months. We don't want that. I could talk to you about posing. We articulate hips, clavicle, others simply move the waist and arm. Our figures, even when they are still are dynamic, and that's why. And that is time. Many times we have thought of focusing the releases in a single line, but do you want that? Would you rather wait 3 to 5 months to see if something comes out of the army you are interested in? I personally would not want that. Especially when we are talking about prices as low as we patreons are proposing.A single physical miniature is more expensive than the whole subscription. I think I should make a survey about this. And speaking of the scenery. I don't think that large resin scenery is viable. For many reasons. 1 Theoretically I can cut things as I want. But we all know that the most difficult pieces to print well are the bases. The planes get defromed and bowed. And the bigger the piece the bigger the deformation. They would be very difficult puzzles to assemble and probably would not look good.On the other hand, the PLA allows us to have perfect surfaces for the pieces without problems in the fittings. 2: fragility: Resin is infinitely less resistant than PLA. Even if it is an ABS resin. And in that case it will be very expensive. 3.- price: A piece like the tree I showed you a few days ago weighs about 3kg. In ABS resin it could be about 120 eruos if nothing fails, which it will fail for sure. Personally they seem to me to be unacceptable numbers. In PLA could be 30 the cost. The superiority of detail of the resin is not enough to compensate for this. Rather I am inclined to think that it is not. And Rob, again thank you very much for your comments.
Please add terrain and make it fot the army's you are working on. Especially from by point of view to the elves 👍😊
I'd almost say start a separate Patreon for terrain. Only because you already have options in this one for 3 armies or 1 army and terrain could be a complicating layer on top as some might want it all; others might only want 1 army but also the terrain etc.. Keeping things simple if you had a separate Patreon which just did terrain then you have a much easier time balancing it out. It also means you can do themed terrain that isn't connected to the armies you currently cover in the current patreon.
