Dollhouse 1x13 Epitaph 1 - Edited & Full
I explain a bit about my choice to watch Epitaph 1 at this point in my Dollhouse journey, so please watch the intro if you'd like to know more! I'd recommend watching the YT edit intro because SILLY ME cut out a little bit from my intro on the full one and I'd prefer not to re-render and re-upload.
What an episode... Totally different to what I was expecting, and it's made me more excited for season 2 and to find out more about what happened!
I hope you enjoy!

i love this episode. its so interesting seeing how things ended up and seeing how they got there. seeing just snippets of things. i feel so bad for dr sonders. topher...well i think being the one who took down civilation would and should drive you mad. if it doesnt then youre a sociopath. being the brilliant tech mastermind has its downside.
One of the few who believe in holding out on this one. A precedent has been set. No reactor will get full joy of changed world at the end.
It will always be impossible to please everyone 馃ゲ I will let you know once I've finished watching if I feel that I should have waited on the epitaphs!
I watched Dollhouse when it aired originally. I have imperfect memories of the shows but I remember really liking season 1 and being somewhat ambivalent about season 2. Of course, I didn't have the opportunity to watch Epitaph 1 or 2. I think this episode clears up a lot of my confusion about the second season. When you started your reactions I purchased the Blu-Ray discs to follow along and have not skipped ahead or viewed any of the commentaries or extras to keep as much of a tabula rasa as possible. Looking forward to our continued journey. There is another Eliza Dushku show (not with Joss Whedon though) called Tru Calling. Two seasons, 26 episodes in 2003 - 2005, right after Buffy. The show had good critical reviews but never picked up an audience (think Firefly). Eliza plays Tru Davies, a medical student, working her way through school as a morgue attendant. Anything more might be spoilerish, at least for the first two episodes.
I recently (re-)watched Tru Calling, it was fun. I'd say it suffered a bit in the second season trying to make the story grander than it needed to be. Unfortunately a lot of procedurals suffer from this. But yeah, it's still a very enjoyable show.
"Did I think of that? Did I?" Absolutely heartbreaking.
Great one Jules! This is such a great show (done in 2008-09), and I actually appreciate it a lot more now as I find it strangely connected to the world we are living in today...unfortunately.
I'm REALLY enjoying it. I feel that season 2 is going to get pretty heavy!
I haven't watched yet, will do as soon as I'm able. Very excited. Not only a great episode but a great episode for reactions. Personally I prefer this placement for Epitaph One, I rather enjoy the more complex timeline/storytelling. Looking forward to checking this out when I'm done work. Thanks for everything, J, see you in the next one 馃憤
