Ted Lasso 2x04 Edited & Full
It's a Christmas episode!! Ordinarily, a Christmas episode feels like a bit of filler. They don't really progress the story, and just offer a bit of wholesome cheer. Well, this episode is no different EXCEPT I'd happily watch these characters watch paint dry and have deep and amusing conversations about wet paint that I couldn't give two hoots if it's filler or not 馃ぃ
Excellent, as always!

lovely reaction, as always, Jules! During the holidays, I'll watch favorite Christmas specials, and this is one. My other favorites are from Doctor Who. Madge (Claire Skinner), from "The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe" Christmas special was the dentist in this one!
This episode and another later in the season (you'll know it when you see it) were made because AppleTV made a last minute order for 2 additional episodes for this season: 12 instead of Season 1's 10 episodes. So, they had the whole season arc planned out already, and made these two episodes to fill the order.
What a lovely episode! From the stop-motion intro to the last scene with them all singing and dancing in the street this episode was just so lovely! Fun nod to Love Actually with Phoebe and the cue cards as well! Thanks for another great reaction Juliette. Hope you have a lovely day!
Ooh I think i've seen Love Actually but so long ago that I remember nothing haha. It's either that or Notting Hill I'm thinking of 馃槄 Thank you, Neil 馃挏 I hope you are doing well with your plans 馃憖
Also this is the third time we have seen the 'Ussie' guy. He was in the very first episode and also Season 1, Episode 10 The Hope That Kills You where he appears in the barbershop with Jamie Tartt.
Here's a fun little fact: that Ussie Guy actually is the son of Clare Skinner, who was playing Dr Rogers the dentist. So, actual family there.
I love Rebecca's outfit when she shows up at Ted's window. That woman has class.
She is SO INCREDIBLE! I am secretly admiring her in every scene. I want to be just like her!
Jules, looking forward to the reaction. Since the show was doing well the studio asked them to do two extra episodes after they had already planned out the season. So, you are right. This one and another one later are literally filler episodes, but when they are so much fun you can鈥檛 complain. I bet you will spot the other filler episode later this season.
With characters like these, there really isn't an normal filler. I ADORE them all so much 馃挏馃挏
