Ted Lasso 1x03 Trent Crimm - Edited & Full
Gosh darn it, Ted is just the most likeable fellow I think I've ever seen on television. And it's not an act - he's genuinely this wonderful. He reminds me of Ned Flanders a little 馃槄
I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead and this episode gives you something to smile about no matter what you're going through 馃挏

I appreciate ya, Jules :)
It's fun when you hope a reactor picks a show and then they like it as much as you hoped they would. Ted is just such a beacon of positivity and it is a joy seeing it slowly spread amongst the team. I like the touch of him getting a different book for each team member. Would have loved to see the meaning behind some of the other gifts. This episode was a great showcase for Roy too. Roy initially comes across as the opposite of Ted, with his aura of negativity. However, in this episode, you get to see some of his sweetness poke through with his niece and his looking out for Nate.
FWIW, as youtube creators go, you do often err towards Ted Lasso genuine wholesomeness.
馃ス thank you!!
Ned Flanders! I don't know how I haven't thought that before but you're right, I can totally see it now! I would also say that Ted kind of reminds me of yourself. You both have a way about you that is extremely charming/endearing, and has me rooting for, and wanting the absolute best for you both. As you said in your closing thoughts, Rebecca's plans haven't succeeded thus far with both the "incriminating" photos and the Trent Crimm article being duds. I wonder what she'll try next? I love how Roy, under that somewhat gruff exterior, showed his true colours with regards to Nate being bullied. A big softie at heart maybe? Thanks for another great reaction Juliette and I hope you have a wonderful week yourself 馃挏
I love Ned!! There was this quote I keep thinking of, and I'm sure he said it but I can never find it. I haven't asked AI though, maybe I should. But I distinctly remember him saying "the best flavour of all... Plain!" and I'd love to see that part again! Roy has this scary and dark side, but yes, I do think he might end up being a big softie. I wish I could say the same for Jamie. I do not like him 馃槶 I'm so glad you're enjoying this show, Neil! It really is a great watch. I would have thought for sure you'd have seen it, being from the land of the tea drinkers and all! Have a great week to you too, Neil 馃挏
I can't tell you how pleased I am that you took on this show, despite it not seeming like a fit for you with the sports theme. I can hardly think of a more Juliette-coded series, other than The Good Place. I love watching you discover the characters and settle in for a very fun ride.
A little secret... hehe... I actually feel excited about the sport aspect, now! I do like basketball and have been to a few games and it's always exciting rooting for your favourite team. I know it's fictional, but I feel that Richmond is my team now 馃槄 so I want them to win! Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. The characters are wonderful and it really feels like a perfect Good Place replacement! I adore it so much 馃挏
