Doctor Who 10x11 World Enough & Time Edited

I loved this episode. I honestly wasn't prepared for the ending (or that part near the beginning, either). It was so well done, SO atmospheric and riveting every step of the way. I love Doctor Who finales when they feel like one, and this is so good.

Now, would you like the good tea or the bad tea?

Fabulous reaction to an amazing (and very very dark) episode. I am sipping on my tea to prepare for the horrors ahead (which would obviously consist of more tea!)

You must have chosen the bad tea today 馃槄

I remember watching this when it first aired. Unfortunately, John Simm's return and the mondasian cybermen had been spoiled online.

I've heard a LOT of Doctor Who stuff gets spoiled in the press! What a shame!

Going to start a petition to get justice for Bill. Don't care that it was years ago lol. It still hurts........ 馃様. Incredible episode. Love a two parter. Great reaction 馃槂

Thank you, Jonathan!! Bill didn't deserve this... And neither did the Doctor 馃様

i believe peter had something to do with the finale including Mondasian cybermen, something he would have seen when he was watching as a kid

Yes, I believe Steven Moffat asked him if there was a monster he particularly wanted to face, and he requested the Mondasian cybermen.

Yeah as Tobly says when you watched it at the time they'd be so many spoilers from the BBC I hated it, I do wish I could watch it like you without the foreknowledge. But regarding John Simm what a disguise! I've seen a few different reactors to this episode and no one knows it's him until either the reveal or like a few sentences before ('you wouldn't be so...self destructive...') then afterwards you have no idea how you missed it it seems so obvious in hindsight! lol It was a very funny character, genuine lolz. Also can we talk about how horrifying it is they just turn the volume down on the patients!? That's some messed up stuff. And Bill... I think she rivals Donna for having one season of just pure bad times lol She really goes through it! But yeah LOVE this episode, aired in 2017 and I've watched this and the remainder of this series countless times, it's just excellent. And I'll take the good tea please, keeping a positive attitude for the horrors that are to come, even if it is mainly the tea.... lmao.

It SUCKS the BBC and the press spoil so much. That's one benefit of watching it many years after its aired and not following it in real time, I guess... I could not believe how well The Master was disguised!! The volume going down on the patients was so awful... Thank you for enjoying this one with me, Martin! It was such a great but traumatic episode 馃ス

I wouldn't say the Master went to his future timeline etc. He was already there. Missy just happened to run into her past self. You're bound to run into yourself sooner or later when time travel is involved

To this day I am still suprised it took the BBC and everyone involved in the production of the series this long to do a multi-master story on screen.

Your reaction was everything lol, this is personally my favorite finale in doctor who鈥檚 history. That opening sequence with the doctor regenerating is so confusing and put you straight into action. The dynamic between 12, missy and Nardole is hilarious I love them so much. And poor Bill she really didn鈥檛 deserve what happened to her. That is such a master thing to do disguise himself to fool and play with others and doing everything he can to hurt the doctor. Btw the master is still played by the same actor who who played him during David Tennant鈥檚 era (the tenth doctor.) I can鈥檛 wait to see you reaction to the finale.

It's fair to say that I was eagerly awaiting this one all week. All the times you were talking about how much you loved Bill, little knowing that she gets turned into a Cyberman. And yes, that's what they looked (and sounded) like when they first appeared 60 years ago, even though their appearance has kept changing over the years. For all the costume seems cheap and silly, at the same time having the bandages around their face and what was bare hands also helps convey the horror of the concept that they're humans who have undergone these procedures and alterations. Capaldi was a fan anyway which is why they brought them back as a favour to him. The episode starts off (leaving aside the opening of the Doctor in the snow) in such a lighthearted and comedic way that it makes it even more of a shock when Bill is shot and it takes a much darker and more horrifying turn. At least by now you understand the complexities of the Doctor/Master relationship far more than when you first met the Master, and the fact that the Doctor feels like the Master is the only person remotely like him (and how at least sometimes the feeling is mutual) really gets to the heart of it. Yes it is John Simm reprising his role as the previous Master, the beard (which was a common feature of the classic Masters) helping him look different, and I actually like him a lot better here than in his initial appearances. This marks the first time we've had 2 versions of the Master meet each other on screen. I hope you enjoyed the next one as well and seeing how that dynamic played out.

Hello Alice 鈽猴笍 I really, really enjoyed this episode. I love so many of the Doctor Who seasons, but there's something about Peter which has just elevated the whole show for me, even more so. I could not believe it was The Master!! I did not recognise John Simm at all. The disguise did a number on me, that's for sure! Poor Bill though... I am so sad for her and she did not deserve such a sad thing to happen, truly 馃様

The BBC already spoilt that John Simm would be returning but I missed it, so when this episode first came out I was gobsmacked The scene where the doctor finds cyberman bill, right to the end gives me goosebumps and chills everytime I watch

Pretty sure it was the first scene in the trailer. They really shouldn't have spoiled it but then again they want the views
