Doctor Who 10x05 Oxygen - Edited
Perhaps one of the most unexpected endings ever, but this just makes me excited to see what's going to happen!
Nardool continues to impress me with his quirks and funny expressions and the Doctor was on fire with his own quips this episode. It's nice to have some laughs sprinkled in with pure horror at times 馃構

Wait you like Adrian Edmondson/Bottom!? That's awesome! Love him and that show too! If Doctor Who is missing something then frying pan whacks around the head is definitely one thing lol I would LOVE for Adrian to be in this lol So I understood it that Bill survives because her suit is faulty so didn't have enough power to kill her whereas everyone elses had working ones so enough venom in it so to speak. Clara had, well, essentially three introductions in fairness to Bill, Oswin in the Dalek Asylum, then the Snowman then the bells of st john whereas Bill starts from scratch but I do get what you mean you have Clara going three seasons basically then Bill pops up so it will make a difference in what you may feel about a new character. These three as a trio are amazing, I really like their dynamic, and anything horror Capaldi just owns, soon as he does that monologue at the beginning it's like yep, sign me up for space zombies let's go! lol
Happy New Year Juliette! Did you go out anywhere for New Year's Eve? I'm being Mr Boring and staying in this year. Plus it's far too cold, busy and expensive anyway. You mentioned Bottom during this one and it got me thinking how cool (and crazy) it would have been if Richie & Eddie had somehow become companions! The Doctor has some very funny lines in this. Which makes a nice contrast to the scary space zombies.
First of all, it's fun to have this opportunity to engage in a bit of time travel and watch something that you posted next year ;) Secondly, the reason why the season gets off to a relatively slow start is because it felt unrealistic for Bill to stick around if she had a particularly unpleasant or traumatic experience early on, but with that ending it really starts to get going after a very scary episode. Maybe you should have realised that something bad was going to happen to the couple at the start given what show this is and how they were tempting fate a bit ;)
