We're in the BAD PLACE! What an episode! Again, an incredible ending that would make anyone click "Play Next", so many great moments, and can I love these people any more than I do?

I hope everyone has a lovely week ahead! I have a bit of a busy one with a few appointments so this week will be light on the recording, but I'm hoping it will give me a chance to catch up on editing!

Up until now, I've had to harbor at least a little suspicion about Michael's true motives. They've seemed genuine, but he's fooled us before. But after he sacrifices himself to self Eleanor, there's no remaining doubt where he stands.
Jason may hate suits, but he looks very good in one. Especially with the hat. And Eleanor's hairdo is gorgeous.
Michael solved the Trolley problem twice
"is there a gift shop?" "Jason, this is hell. Of course there's a gift shop." That may be my favorite line in the series.
I don't think Janet can produce those pins. Otherwise Michael would have asked her to in advance, instead of trying to get them from Sean. It must be a security thing.
Yeah, I think you're right! She must be programmed not to be able to produce certain things. I wonder if there's anything else she can't get!
"Why do I even kind of like Sean 😭" Marc Evan Jackson is so perfect in this role, riding the line between evil and likable. He also does a AMAZING job hosting The Good Place Podcast. Technically I think you can listen to season 1 once you're done season 1 of the show (and so on) -- or you can wait 'til the show is over and you're looking for a way to fill the gap it leaves!
I think I will hold off and binge all that at the end as I will desperately NEED something when I am done! I will be so sad when it ends 🥺

Such a great scene at the end with Michael. Not sure if you would notice, but Kristen Bell's real life husband was in this episode. He played Chet, the ball tap guy, who told Elenor, "Damn, you got that good stank." So romantic.
NO WAY NO WAY!! That was her husband? BAHAHAHA!! I had no idea!
