Doctor Who 8x5 Time Heist
The Architect! Not to be confused with The Good Place's Architect - though I have to say, the more shows I watch, the more I see crossovers and similarities. I've not seen a great deal of TV or movies, so perhaps this happens more regularly than I know. But I do like seeing bits and pieces of stuff that I can say "AH! This reminds me of..."
A great premise for an episode, lot's of fun. That is something I'm sort of picking up on with this series. The stories seem to be quite epic tales. I really like it!

Loved it. 5/5 So far!!!! Really enjoyed every episode
You mentioned that you had some issues with Psi remembering that he wiped the memories of his family away. Note that he also remembered why he did it. If I was in the "same" situation and had the ability to selectively remove memories, I'd probably make the same choice. If you wiped away your family memories and didn't preserve the fact that you did it deliberately for a good reason, you'd be haunted for the rest of your life wondering what happened to your family, i.e. how is it possible that you know you must have had a family, but you have no idea what happened to them, i.e. were you adopted, etc. Knowing that you had the ability to wipe memories selectively might make you wonder if you intentionally wiped those memories, but you might then torture yourself wondering if you removed the memories because your parents were horrible people and treated you so badly that you didn't want to remember them, etc.
OH! That makes so much sense now. Thank you!
One of my favorite Doctor Who episodes. I especially love how you can start to see how the 12th Doctor really thinks, and I feel like we are starting to see that gooey interior tucked away behind that grumpy hard exterior. He seemed indifferent to Sabre's "death" but he was so happy to see that they actually survived.
One of my Go To Episodes when introducing new people into the show, does everything a Doctor Who episodes needs
Great episode and you can really feel Capaldi make this Doctor his own by this point, I was a fan of his before he took this role anyway but only a few episodes in and you can already tell he has so many of his mannerisms down, loving it!
I love how every Doctor is so different, yet they all share some of the same mannerisms 💜
This is a story that fits doctor who so well that im surprised that it took them this long to do it, robbing a bank but you don't know why, only for it to be revealed that the doctor is behind it, the episode is genius and of the best in this season imo
I feel they've really been experimenting a lot with the stories this series! Love it!
