I really enjoyed this episode! It felt very monster-of-the-week-y to me, but it doesn't make it any less enjoyable. Following along with the scared little boy and I think a few of us can relate to being scared of the dark, or of something inside your closet... 😱

Actually I'm fairly certain this episode was originally meant to air in the first half of the season (possibly before the flesh episodes) and the line "In the flesh" was foreshadowing, instead of a reference. Oh and the psychic paper message is something we've seen before! River in the library sends the 10th doctor a message to ask him there. Decent episode though, scared the crap out of me as a kid.
OOH that makes a lot of sense! I wonder if they do mix things around a little sometimes. It's a good in-between sort of episode. They all can't contain secrets and shockers ðŸ¤
I found this quite creepy when it originally aired back in 2011. It's definitely intended to be a filler episode, but I do enjoy it still. Hope you had a good Christmas!🎄
