Football Manager 26 - Enhanced Environment Overhaul ALPHA v0.04
Hey everyone,
I've returned from my week with the family, and it was pretty needed. I got back and have looked into the most prevalent bugs that you guys mentioned after version 0.02 and 0.03 and have subsequently pushed this version to check out if everything works as intended. I hope it does as on my end the fixes worked.
Fixes:
I changed how the normal FM football is picking up lights and as a result it should be way more visible. The problem was that the ball was split in half, so the light never applied to one side of it.
I changed how the FM lights interact with the pitch on NON-CUSTOM stadiums. This means the pitches from base FM should stay properly lit. It may or may not always work on the first highlight which is a known issue for me, but after the first highlight the visibility should be good.
Hopefully this will fix these two issues.

For this build specifically: if you find a CUSTOM ground where the players are still dark at night, tell me which one and roughly what time the match kicked off. That's enough for me to go and look at it.
Installing
Download and unzip the attached zip file.
Find your FM26 folder.
Steam: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26
Xbox Game Pass: XboxGames\Football Manager 26\Content
Epic Games: Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\FootballManager26
Drag the "BepInEx" folder from the zip into that folder, next to the game's .exe.
Windows will ask about merging or replacing files. Say yes to either.
Start the game.

Can you do geography for FM26? I've been doing this for 40 years and have never seen anything like this. And don't let anyone take advantage of you for FM27. I hope you understan

Hi Bassy, I downloaded this latest version and since then, the ball has been dark and black. What's the solution? I've tested it in several games.
Hello. I've installed this upgrade. I play with low quality (2nd lowest in the game, due to the limitations of my laptop). I play in a low league in Portugal. When the game starts it's still daylight, and you can see the shadows of the players in the pitch, and you can see the ball clearly. It's really great, the shadows of the trees (it's a small stadium), the players, the stadium, it's really beautiful to see. But in the second half it's night already, and everything is more brighter, the color of the shirts is a bit more to the white, and the ball is half dark. Sometimes you can't see the ball clearer. I think that with artificial light you should see the 4 shadows (if you have 4 floodlights), and the shirts of the players should reflect the real color. And the ball should be visible for all angles. That's what I experienced. But, overall and as always, fantastic job, Bassy!

Hi Erdem, it should already have been fixed with the attached stadiums on the 0.02 and 0.03 versions, but maybe you can give this a try too?

Hi Simon, that will be a while out I'm afraid. I want it to be the swan song for FM26, or perhaps the release of the FM27 version. I'm unsure at the moment.

Hi Kyle, the last version of that ilk is the 3.2 stadium megapack. I hope that soon I can bring out version 4.0 completely!
