I have only just joined but at the monthly fee if you like 1 sculpture each month then you have had your moneys worth if you look up what some of these high quality designs cost on their own, if you like 2 then you are making a killing. You now get 4 Sculptures and the Busts to go with them. On top of that every three months they give you a free term from on of their partner paterons. I've now joined Wicked and Star Wars, My issues is I think I will go bust buying resin.

Nice! I don`t get the "it has beed done before" comments. I have looked for a nice silver surfer but haven't found a realy good one either the boards are too thick and look goofy or like the sanix one the board warps or the anatomy is just baaaaaad. I also think the take on the characters from wicked is really different to all the other artist offering Marvel models. I now have 3 Blade models (wicked, Prey and 3dxm) and all are different and all cool. Now why be frustrated that people don't want characters they never heard before, I started collecting comics in the 80s (mostly DC) and some of this characters are not known to me, just be happy a cool character is coming and have faith next time your will get picked. I find also really interesting that a lot of the people commenting are not patreons of anything, so you are not loosing anything, right? anyway... the longer I use pateron the worst it gets...
You have a point, mostly true, but that does not mean that people cannot speak their mind. You cannot complain about what you get for the ammount that you are paying - most of the Wicked/B3serk (i don't know about Star Wars as I don't follow) designs are very well made , great details so if you care about that character most definately you could make a great great statue out of it. So it was never about the quality of the files, or the delivery times, or the kindness that the boys lay in every comment that they answer to, at least from me. You definitely get way more than you pay. The discution is always about the tastes, the preferences that every member has. In this case, i'm not complaining about the file - i'm sure that the Wicked Silver Surfer will look great - i'm not complaining that i don't care about it and i will never print it, but i'm complaining about the fact that we have a famous pool were is 1 character that has a little fame, most of the others are unknown, so there is no competition, no chance for other to win. Also i am complaining that we have a Heralds pool - a while back i talked with B3dserk boys about Dark Nights Death Metal characters, they were very kind, told me that a character was in the pools here and there but did not get the votes. Fair enough, so i said lets make a pool only with characters from this story line/ this category, they declined me saying that by doing this they feel like they are imposing this to patreons and this is not the way the things should work - i truly understood them, they were right. Now i felt like a herald was imposed to me, exactlly the Silver Surfer.

Can anyone recommend a good reflective chrome paint please? 😊
I think Alclad II has chrome, but I use their black shine base and silver and some iridescents. They do a wide range of actually shiny metallics and tbh they're my go-to and favorite metallic lacquers. Important to get that gloss black base though. I also like their primer with microfillers as well.
I thought I was a pretty big, and knowledgeable, Marvel fan but I really got put in my place here today! 😂

I agree with the sentiments shared here. Silver surfer has to be done. He should be done regardless of the voting on this poll. We should give a chance to those other deep cut characters that aren't getting their fair shake.

When you end up doing silver surfer, please keep us guys with smaller printers in mind 😂 I have a feeling the base is goner be crazy for it (as it should lol) but please be manageable for smaller resin printers
This! I have a HALOT-One and it's on the smaller side. For the most part I can print the 50% pieces and a lot of the 100% pieces, but it's always the bases and the larger parts that get me when trying 100%. I could print them if they were split into smaller parts with slots for assembly. The Hela bust and Sylvie/Loki diorama spring to mind with the large rocks and long spikes on the Hela.

I'm excited for this! Surfer is not a super complex model when it comes to textures etc. so it should free up some time for the big Guardians of the Galaxy diorama base. <3 Both will be exciting! I'm just curious what the 4th character will be. Really hoping for a great Rogue. A second female this month would be really cool, especially if it's a mutant. Very few females on Wicked's roster.
This month we are going for the Monster's poll in the rare spot!!! We feel that in the previous one it wasn't completely fair having Blade there, so we want to give it a shot again!

I would love Nova but if I'm going to print Galactus he needs a Silver Surfer, of course then we will need the Fantastic 4 (would have to print Susan Storm in the most transparent resin possible)

Think Nova would of been my second as I have loads of surfer comics with her in from the 90s...... but could only vote for the surfer I know there are hundreds of designs already out there but wicked always do the best stuff
Thats the idea, my dear Lee! Its not over until we put the Wicked touch in the model! There can be thousands of a character, but none in Wicked, and thats what counts!
These polls remind me of Bambi vs. Godzilla. What would happen if we ran popular characters against each other and let the second string characters compete in their own polls? Not being negative, just making a suggestion. Looking forward to the Silver Surfer model.

They should have called this the "who do you want after silver surfer" poll
Correct. Firstly we do not need no herald because Galactus sculpture is complete as it is, i don't think that the concept included a tiny herald attached to him. Secondly there is no chance for another character like Terrax or Morg to win it's clear as daylight that Silver Surfer will get 70% of the votes. It's a pitty ,even tho i know that Wicked boys will design a great Silver Surfer, because there a so many Silver Surfers and he has no competition in a pool that shoul be about famous characters, he's the only one that is well known.
We'll also need a mini flying Surfer with a trail so we can attach him to Big G!
