July Term: Knull Sculpture reveal + Important information (please read!)

Yeah, we know! Long time without updates, right? We promise you that there is a good reason behind!!!
Alright, *Drum intro* The latest addition of our ULTRA SWEET collection: We give you, the God of the Symbiotes and latest big baddie of the Marvel universe, The merciless Knull!!
Seriously amigos, we went like all out with him. This has been the most detailed character we have done so far, and didn't leave anything out!~ We are pretty happy on the result, and can't wait to see it printed, my friends!
Now, the features!!! The Knull will have two heads, two sets of arms (Armor - like in the photo - and bandages) and dudes, we included something very sweet <3!!!! WINGS!!!! We saw in one of the comics he has wings, and well, how let that detail pass!! Altho these are completely optional!!!

Now, the reason of the delay in the posts: As we told you before, Wicked is going through some changes, and it's not puberty! We are growing quite fast and we need to be prepared. That's why we are improving some stuff internally and organizing our process so we can give you the very best and better from now on. We are analysing what we can do and what not to be able to deliver the best quality in the timeframe we have, because we have LOTS of features to implement, and we need to be smart about it so we don't sacrifice anything in the process.
What does it mean? That we are going to have some changes in Wicked, good changes!!! Some will be simple, others will be new features. We will be updating you on those in the following days, my dudes!!
For now, we have a favor to ask you!!! This month we will be delayed in the releases. Today we will have the Spider man and the Vulture sculptures in their stand alone versions, and by August 12th we will have the rest of the term! We know you have been waiting for the months term, but believe us, we needed to arrange our workflow better, so we can implement what we want. And dudes, you can be 100% sure that you will love it!!
So we are asking you for some patience, my dudes!!! Today you will have a couple of models to start printing, and hopefully you will be entertained til the 12th when we release the rest!!! Just a couple of days away!

I've been in this hobby for quite a while and there's always some guy or two that has no idea what goes into all this. The best thing to do is show them to the door and kick rocks. Bottom line is.....if you're unhappy with the patron, then go somewhere else. And if it's for the reasons these two guys listed, then they'll never be happy ANYWHERE because most of these patreons can be late or not kiss peoples asses like they the patrons would want them to. So......so long fellas! Take you $10 a month and see if you get more value somewhere else. Chances are you won't. Everyone else...keep printing some kick ass models and post the hell outta them!

I will never expect perfect from Wicked. But you know for 10$ you need statue quality and this is so close. I am since second or 3rd month and Wicked team never let me down. I used to support 6-7 patreons and I really can confirm that Wicked team has the best supporting team and 100% they are listening you. Keep on surprising patrons you are in the right way Wicked ;)

Quiero dar mi opinión al respecto, perdonad, pero me expreso mejor en castellano, primero de todo felicitar a wicked por la calidad que pone en cada escultura, segundo felicitarle por saber parar y ver que tiene que mejorar para dar en un futuro próximo mejores resultados, esto no es fácil y no es nada fácil verlo y menos hacerlo. Lo más fácil es seguir igual, lo difícil es querer dar más y mejor. En esto solo veo cosas positivas en esto. Tercero esto es un hobby (para mi) y como tal, no pasa nada un poco de retraso, como si se quieren tomar un mes entero para luego sacar esculturas mejores incluso que las que sacan ahora (me pregunto si esto es posible, jejeje!!) y en cuarto lugar, supongo que no habrá nadie que no tenga 2-3 (por no decir 10) patrocinados más, y cada mes sacan esculturas, mis dos impresoras de resina les doy mucha caña, y así y todo se me acumulan las esculturas (y no digamos el pintando y montado) de forma que para mi, repito mis felicitaciones para haber echo esta reflexión y explicarnos los motivos!!! Muchas gracias por vuestro magnifico trabajo.

I’ve got to say I’ve never seen anything or anyone act like that on Patreon before. So we pay equivalent of around £9 in UK money for monthly models and sculptures that on the open sites would, given the quality, charge around £20+ EACH? I’m confused how people get so angry about what us in effect, a hobby for most of us. I’ve not been modelling or printing long and I went all in. I joined around 10 Patreon and you guys (Wicked, B3dserk and Star Wars) are the only ones I stuck with and I went full tier on all of them. I still have so many to print from past months and welcome packages it’s stupid. Quality is out of this world and to be honest the rest should be ashamed of the content they offer. Don’t allow toxicity to get you down guys. You are the best out there in my opinion and long may it continue.

This is not right, you constantly run late, but I have to pay on time, this is unprofessional... what are the compensation for the delay? Even now you said we should have spidey and vulture but we only get spidey. The 12th we ain't gonna get shit and for sur in the mean time the statues for the ongoing month are not set, we didn't even got the poll for the marvel comics. I notice that you don't really seams to care of what your backers might find not right but since you seam to loose your backers oftenly I have to talk about it . For examples, you keys and pins. I follow you since black panther many told you and you still don't get pins rights, cut are are oftenly not clean and not very well think. You say you do test print, but we never see the result of it... There is tons of modeler out there, the good one are the one that are able to make nice and clean cuts, this is what make all the difference. if you are aiming for high end statue you need to work on that and it is not what we get right now... Since I am going in, let's to it full : you over compensated you design with a lot of texture. It is great to have all this texture, but often that make the statue unreadable, to many not needed details to hide the lack of dynamism in the model. you should always give a second head on MCU statues, your modeling skill are not enough to make the actors faces perfectly right and sometimes it get awkward. Last but not least the patreon goals. If I remember well we reached few months ago some patrons goals who talk about giant diorama with monsters from avengers 1, where did it go?
What the hell? First off, no need for bad language. Secondly – do you understand the concept of being a Patron? We’re supposed to support and motivate an artist as they grow and develop – not rip them to shreds because they’re not listening to your particular needs. 3D design and printing is a relatively new art form and subject to a lot of change and development. Be patient and continue your support – or not. But this kind of negativity is not helpful, shows a marked lack of patience, respect and understanding and, going by all the love and support shown on here – you’re most definitely in a very small minority.

You might want to check to see if it's an issue with their policies just in case.
No worries here at all about deadlines. The only thing that makes it tough is the monthly patreon goals, and keeping track of them. As long as you guys 100% make sure everyone gets contacted with links, you should be fine, but Patreon might have issues with late delivery complaints.

Dude, like everyone else is saying... take all the time you need my friend. The quality you guys pump out is incredible and well worth the wait. I think a large majority of the Patrons on here feel the same way. Happy to see you are adjusting workflow because the next step in my small but growing business will be creating my own designs in Zbrush. I have a ways to go before I get there but when I do I'll definitely be picking your brains on the most efficient workflow to use! And can I just say about this Knull sculpture...holy SHIT that thing is epic as hell! Keep up the great work!
