We decided to use our Phone-an-Amigo lifeline this time, so this is your moment to jump in and talk to us!!!!
We’ve been reading all your comments about Steve Austin’s likeness, so before we give this bad boy another pass and work on a new portrait option, we wanted to bring you these gray renders, which are always the closest representation of how the final sculpture really looks. Colored renders can sometimes slightly change how certain features are perceived because of the lighting, colors, skin textures and all the extra sauce added to them, so the gray version is always the best way to judge our models.
So have a look and let us know what you think could be improved!!!! We’ll be working on a new pass of the likeness based on your feedback, so we really want to hear what you think.

This is going be my first print as a new member Austin was my and still is my favourite wrestler he'll I still say iconic what So ya going print this and I might end up not un-vailing him til March 16th Till then I think Batgirl will be first off my bench lol

I thought the original was pretty good, but then again I’m not a huge wrestling fan either. BUT if you wanted to go back and make another pass on that Alex Ross Batman nose I’d be MUCH APPRECIATIVE?!?! 😆 that nose is just too exposed fellas, his mask needs to cover it more

facially far better, its now close enough in my book but that neck is really still throwing things off a lot. id need to see it on the body but it looks way too thick and does put him into goldberg territory again, need to see how all the neck looks attached to the body as it can be deceiving though

I'll tell ya Wicked, im not the biggest wrestling fan (super stoked for a killer halloween), but the likenesses on your recent sculpts (all 3 patreons) have been amazing. Hogan and Austin look amazing. Growing up with this stuff, I can definitely appreciate the workmanship that's gone into them, and yes they look incredible. Thank you Wicked for the quality sculpts you continually deliver.

Another factor with people is they age and change over time. Probably a bit easier to capture how a person looks from a specific movie character as opposed to someone with a 25 year career (with plenty of injuries 😎) I think it looks quite solid though. Y’all do such an amazing job with people’s faces in general and go way beyond ‘ehh, good enough’ that I see with many creators. Always Love your work.

Austin’s eyes should be smaller and more deep-set, with a heavier brow. The nose looks a little too long — maybe shorter and wider. The lower face and chin also feel slightly too long and projected. I think fixing these proportions would make him look much more like Stone Cold.

The color renders just came out a little different than expected this time, so we wanted to show you the grayscale version where the sculpt and details are much easier to appreciate!
I instantly thought the actual files looked better. I’m printing this now, hopefully I’ll have a photo to share tomorrow.

I think it looks good. I think some faces of real people just fall under the uncanny valley thing. I think some faces just look off with a medium like this.

It indeed looks way better. The unfortunate part of sculpting a real person is no matter how good the entire sculpt is if it doesn’t look like the person it will read as way way off. This looks nice though

Its far better than the first one, we can see who its meant to be, facially, as it did look more Goldberg-like. 100% is hard to achieve, so I wont be critical. As quite frankly, o couldn't do it better without certain programs. Thanks for listening to the community though. Always top tier reputation for that, guys.

This is much better! Still something a tiny bit off from the front 45 degree angle. Maybe the mouth area is a little too narrow? I would print this in a heartbeat though
