Help Me Plan Our Family Trip to Menorca! ☀️🏝️

This is a slightly different post from my usual CC updates, but I thought this wonderful community might be the perfect place to ask for a little help...
This August, I'll be taking a few days off to spend some quality time with my family. We're planning a trip to Menorca, and we're all so excited because none of us has ever been there before! 🌴☀️
That got me thinking... maybe some of you have visited Menorca—or perhaps you even live there! (If you do, please say hello! 😊)
I'd absolutely love to hear your recommendations:
🤎 Which beaches are a must-see?
🤎 Are there any beautiful towns or hidden gems we shouldn't miss?
🤎 Any local food or desserts (desserts, yes, please!) we absolutely have to try?
🤎 Restaurants you'd recommend?
🤎 Family-friendly places that are worth visiting?
We'll be travelling with our two daughters (they're 4 and 9 years old), so we're looking for places that are fun for children too... although I should probably mention that our youngest still believes the best way to travel is being carried by Mum most of the time! 😂❤️
And even if you've never been to Menorca, maybe you're like me... the kind of person who spends hours researching destinations, reading travel blogs, watching videos, making lists and dreaming about future trips. 🤭 If you have any tips you've discovered along the way, I'd love to hear them too!
Also, I would love to hear your best tips, hacks, and best practices for traveling with kids! If you have any sanity-saving advice or routines that work wonders for smooth family trips, please drop them below. I need all the wisdom I can get! 🙏✨

Thank you so much for your lovely message! 🤍 May I ask where you're from? 😊 Here in Portugal it's summer at the moment, but unfortunately holiday prices here have become incredibly expensive. In many cases, it's actually cheaper to spend a week in southern Spain than to stay in Portugal, even though we can drive there and don't need to fly! This time we chose Menorca because we'll be staying in an apartment that belongs to a friend of one of my relatives. It's much more affordable than booking one of the usual holiday packages, so we feel very lucky. And as I expected, this community is absolutely amazing! 🥰 I've already received several private messages with fantastic tips and recommendations, so now I'm even more excited for the trip! Thank you, as always, for your kindness and for taking the time to leave me a message. Your support and feedback are always so appreciated—they truly mean a lot to me.
