Hi! I've been playing The Sims from 2001 until now. I just enjoy looking at your creations and other CC creators. Can't download a lot of CC or else my game won't load. It already takes about an hour to load. 😅
Aww, I completely understand! 😄 My very first laptop was... let's just say it wasn't exactly happy running The Sims. 😂 It would get so hot that it literally shut itself down! I'd be happily building one of my overly detailed lots, completely immersed... and then poof... black screen. 😭 The worst part? Even though I knew it could happen, I still kept forgetting to save my game regularly, so I lost hours of work more than once. 🙈 My game took around 10–15 minutes to load (so not quite as long as yours 😅), but the overheating was definitely my biggest problem. And the sound... it sounded like it was preparing for takeoff! 😂✈️ Thankfully, my boyfriend upgraded his PC at the time and gave me his old PC. I just had to add more RAM and a bigger hard drive, and the difference was incredible! It wasn't a laptop anymore, but it worked perfectly for me, and I was incredibly grateful for it. 🤎 What's funny is that, for almost 3/4 years, I managed to keep my YouTube channel going using very old computer. 😅 I could only record one video at a time because I simply didn't have enough storage space. As soon as I finished editing and uploaded the video to YouTube, I had to delete it immediately to make room for the next one! 😂 It wasn't ideal, but somehow... I made it work. Then, about four years ago, I was finally able to buy a much better laptop with more power and storage, and it's been running really well ever since. ❤️ And here's a fun fact: I actually started with The Sims FreePlay on Facebook! 😄 Only later did I discover the whole world of The Sims on PC... and honestly, it completely changed my life. ❤️ I hope one day you'll be able to enjoy a much faster loading time too! 🤞 Until then, I'm really happy you enjoy following my creations—it truly means a lot to me. 🥰
