TOXICity 0.21.0 update #2
It's the 6th, and we just wrapped up the majority of what I like to call principal photography (aka, we wrapped the renders). Except for some reshoots and maybe slipping in a few small filler moments, we should be good to focus on script clean-up and backend coding going forward.
The question has come up (repeatedly over the last few weeks) about how many more chapters are left in TOXICity. As with every project, we initially went into it with a goal of 24 episodes as the target benchmark, but about a year in decided to let the story breathe some. Where we might've glossed over something to push onto the next major set piece, we decided to slow down and shuffle some of the planned moments to fit into the expanded storyline.
We're working on locking down the remainder of the plot map, identifying threads that need to be resolved, and settling on locations and scenery to fill the story's needs. Right now, we're looking at a final count of 28 chapters with an Endings release after that.
As far as a "Director's Cut"/0.99.0 release, we're still entertaining a few ideas, but probably nothing on the scale of TID's Everyone Ending. Frankly, that set a pretty high bar that I don't think we're ever going to reach again.

The remakes of RE2 and RE4 are great. Being inspired now I gotta try to play Tormented Souls now :)
Thanks for the update,K. It's good to read that we still have a lot of stories to expect in ToxiCity. TID's Everyone Ending certainly can't be done in every game, especially since a lot of characters had to be taken into account here. Still, it's one of the best features I've ever seen in a game. As far as other games are concerned, I always come back to "Baldur's Gate 3", now with an evil plauthrough. And I'm currently enjoying "Chicago PD" on Sky, all 11 seasons. Have a nice weekend!
I finally did the Bloodbourne PC emulator it is one of the few souls/likes I have never played. After playing a ton of the middling off brand souls games, I am kicking myself for not playing it sooner. I see why it is so beloved.
Yeah, BB is one of my favorites and once I was able to get it running on my PC, I have to fight not to boot it up at all hours.
Toxicity really feels like the best of TID and N&T keep up the great work🫶🏼
