Turning the Page Quick Update #30
Hey everyone!
We hope that all of you had really wonderful holidays.
Ours were quite challenging. As we alluded to in a previous post, Operae was feeling quite ill which slowed down the art production. That being said, through sheer force of will, he managed to get back on schedule.
Unfortunately, Mint is now the one having problems. Quite serious problems, it turns out. Although it should be something he can work through in the long run, his current writing efforts have been hampered considerably and his progress has been slow and inconsistent.
As a result, there is virtually no chance we will be able to deliver the update on time. We hope to deliver it to all our patrons before the end of the month, but it's going to be close.
For those who are curious, here is the progress breakdown:
Writing : 60%
CGs : 3/3
Animation : 1/1
Coding : 60%
Music and SFX : 60%
Proofreading : 40%
We sincerely apologize for this delay, particularly Mint. We hope to provide better news next time.
Take care all of you,
Azienda

Whatever the situation, you will not be able to avoid criticism for not being able to come out on the release date. That's unprofessional behavior
Hey there. Sorry you feel disappointed, but we legitimately did try our best. Unfortunately, two of the team members had significant health issues, so despite our efforts we were unable to make our deadline. That being said, you will get a full update this month. We will be sharing more details in the coming days.
I think we all can recognize the stress and pressure you are all under - but you need only blame yourselves for publishing such an amazing product! That said, slow down and take good care of yourselves and each other. We'll accept some slow progress if it means you are all healthy and able to continue on with Sophie's journey! Best wishes for a full recovery and health to Operae and Mint!
Hope Mint and Operae feel better soon. Don't worry about the release date; health is more important.
No need to apologize! I'll always wait patiently and be happy to support no matter the circumstances, the teams health is more important, I hope Operae and Mint will feel better soon, definitely take it slower if you guys need to! Hope you're feeling well too Furo! c: Headpat and hugs for all! Do your best that you can do and nothing more than what you can take!
Yes, health comes first! Glad Operae is better and take care Mint! Chronic stuff sucks, you deserve all the care and support you need
Take care of your health first. You’ve built up enough credibility to have a mulligan every now and then. I know it’s tough when you pour your heart into a passion project, but I think we’d all prefer for you to get well than push and your health deteriorates.
Just hope you're all do well, and keeping save. Much love. 👊
