Falling Undercover: Nox Syndicate - [Episode 09] Status Update 💜
Hey everyone! 🙏
Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the beginning of spring (or autumn for our friends in the Southern hemisphere)! We are just here to give you one last progress update before episode 09’s release.
The writing on the very last scene of the update is in full swing and all animation drafts are completed. What’s left is turning the drafts into the final animation clips with added SFX and then our animator moves on to the final tasks (that’s the extra animation we listed last time, as well as creating the various X-Ray clips). While we’re trying to get you next episode as fast as we can, that’s a fair amount of work to be done before we can proceed to the QA and proofreading stage of development. We do not predict that this stage will drag on, but we will be sure to spend an appropriate amount of time polishing the final product.
Though we don’t have an exact release date, the episode will come out in April. 🙏

It’s long but we gotta wait
Just curious, how can you guys so sure that the episode will be out in April when you guys literally replying everyone asking in this post that it isn't ready and does not have a release date yet? Is this mean you guys will force to release it on the 30th even if it's unfinished or what? Of course i am the ones can't wait to play it, but i am also the ones that quality>speed, i don't mind if it release in May as long as the episode at its best quality condition. Thank you for your hard work anyway :)
Hi there! During testing, we may or may not find issues. If we do, they might require fixing some visuals in a CG and re-exporting animations, which can be time-consuming. Basically, we'll only know the exact release date shortly before we post the episode, as we release it as soon as it's ready. At the same time, we know it will be released in April because, excluding any real-life incidents, the remaining time should be enough to finish and polish the update. Hope this helps 🙏
Will there be a update every 12 or 15 days? It would be great if the latest episode could be released directly.

My English is not very good, so I hope you guys can understand me. I would say that the quality is always paramount. I would much rather spend a little extra time waiting than playing a minor release that is light on content and potentially lacks guaranteed quality. So, take your time easily, don't worry about the schedule, if the game turns out great, everyone will be delighted. But actually i do hope the game can gets updated as soon as possible, nah i just kidding lol, i can't wait to play the new version. Anyway thanks for your hard work!

In germany we a quote that sounds probably stupid in english but " baking small breads takes you also to the goal" 🤣 if updates come out smaller is no problem
Hi! I'm glad you'd enjoy smaller updates of FUNS too. We did consider that approach, but after looking into it more closely, we realized it would hurt the overall pacing and planning, reducing the quality of the game. Smaller updates would also mean some content just wouldn't make it in. With 5 or more animations per update, we can properly wrap up smaller narrative arcs, which wouldn't really work in shorter releases.
Ill keep it short and sweet since the pressure is on but cant wait to see this new chapter!! all the time and effort will be WORTH IT!! :)

Hi! Work is progressing well. We have no release date, but can confirm it will be released in April.

Hi! First thing, welcome 🙏 We're currently working on the extra animation. After that, we'll be moving on to the X-ray clips and the remaining SFX, followed by testing/proofreading. We don't have an exact time frame for all this, for now we can only confirm that Episode 09 will be ready before the end of the month 🙏
This game is a masterpiece! The way Luna "melts" through those deep dialogues is incredible. For future updates, please don’t let her lose her mind completely. The real thrill is keeping her cold, elite spy persona intact. I want to see her as the untouchable, professional ace to the world, while in secret, her body and soul are entirely claimed and consumed by Vargas. That extreme contrast—deceiving the world while being Vargas's private, submissive toy—is the absolute soul of this story!

I'm excited for this one and oh I didn't realize there was xray how do I use it?
Hi! You can press X in-game or click the "X-Ray" button in the quick bar to enable X-Ray view. You can also change the size of the X-Ray panel with the C key (or also in the quick bar) and you can move it anywhere you like on the screen. Hope that helps!
