I would enjoy the old videos, just watched this at 3:30 am at work lol, great episode
Dude, I'm thinking about it. It's less that the videos are bad and more my personality was cringe 😬
your videos are such a breath of fresh air. relaxed and concise. thanks for what you do!
Thanks for being a part of the community, man!
I agree with the point on not really caring too much about the minutae of NBA strategy or whatever. I've kind of experienced that myself as a Rockets fan because after they lost to the Warriors the conversation immediately shifted to trades (KD and Giannis being the big ones people are talking about) and I got wrapped up in that for about a week and then I realized that ultimately not only do I have no control over what the Rockets do but also that I do not personally benefit in any way from what they eventually decide to do. While I love watching them play it's nice to remind myself that the team's success is not my success. I think the other realization I've had is that I might just be kind of a casual in the sense that I don't really care too much about the Finals or really any series that the Rockets aren't playing in. I'm just not really bought in emotionally which is a weird feeling because the prevailing notion seems to be that OKC is this masterpiece team that everybody should appreciate the opportunity of watching but I don't really care that much. P.S. I agree with the take on Mind the Game. I never watch that show but I tuned in for the Luka episode because I really wanted to hear his perspective on The Trade, how he felt about it, what his mindset was like, all of that, which is what I expected. Instead there's like two sentences about how it's nice that Los Angeles has the ocean so he can go fishing and then they talk about how it sucks that kids aren't being taught basketball fundamentals anymore. It's just total fluffy nonsense but it happens to have Lebron and Steve Nash so people tune in I guess.
I think that's a good way to experience sports. You can just tune into Rockets games and have a compartmentalized emotionally intense experience and go back to every day life. The part I appreciate about the thunder isn't the basketball, it's the team chemistry. Same goes for the Pacers. As for appreciating the beauty, it's lost on me. Thanks for recapping that mind the game episode for me. I'd be curious about Luka's experience too, but I have no doubt he keeps his mouth shut about it. Too much at stake to say how you really feel.
you have to drop some of the old videos lol
be careful what you wish for 😈 they really suck
The next rivalry will be okc vs spurs lol the real finals prob gon be the wcf at this point
If Giannis ends up in the west it's going to be bad news for the league imo
They for sure delete comments and streams/views are cheaper than you'd think so I can totally see it but I doubt it's the case, the names just have enough gravitas to justify the viewership from casual fans carrides/workouts etc imo. It's possible tho
that's sort of where I'm at with it. they're 💯 percent juking the stats. the views maybe legit though.
