Updates 5/28/2026

Tire updates (FD):

Something I wanted to work on for a while - updating tires. The GT and Kenda tires I made unfortunately were inconsistent and while i couldve adjusted load sens curves to correct them - I was using more advanced tire model where it became painful to make changes in files and track them. While the newer tires still require CSP extended physics, I stripped many features that tbh are not that relevant for drifting. The tire temps now are more accurate, however I made them a little bit colder as in CSP tires start burning in flames around 350C but IRL it happens later around 380-400C. However the main difference is the new tires are way more consistent, less snappy, also I reduced grip slightly to match FD speeds. If you feel like they're too slow you might just be used to driving cars with faster tires but FD tires are not that fast.

  For now I updated only 2026 FD car tires, if anyone is particularly interested in 2025 cars drop a comment below I will update.

Sound updates:

Amanda's and Branden's BMWs got new sounds. I gathered a lot of recordings while we were out drifting around GT Radial factory. Still trying to find best sounding microphones because its hard to record loud exhaust sounds, but getting there.

Also while at Hyperfest I recorded 2jz sounds from Forest Wang, that turned out great and i put those sounds for bunch of my 2jz cars like Ken Gushi GR86 and Conor Shanahan's DMGP car.

Also Gushi FD car and Conor's and Shchurenko DMGP cars received ALS and limiter sound updates, because the ALS sound was broken.

Also been working on updates for Stafford track, will release itin next couple days.

Been shooting a lot lately so had to cut down on modding a bit, was hired at Hyperfest to do photos, which is always awesome experience

Currently at FD Orlando and heading back to Connecticut right after to do some testing and more data collection.
