2 - Tier Changes — Let’s talk about the elephant in the room

This has been on my mind for a while… With the way Minecraft reads texture atlases now, and with the growing size and complexity of NAPP, the 1024x version is simply not viable anymore. Even with the most powerful PCs, it runs like a PowerPoint presentation... it’s just not designed for it.

So I’ve been thinking a lot about how to restructure the tiers in a way that’s fair and sustainable. This is what I’ve come up with (and I really want your feedback! Nothing is final):

- IRON TIER ($2 → $3 suggestion)

• Proposal: Raise the price by $1

• New perk: Access to the 256x resolution, which honestly is already super solid.

(Please don’t kill me, this would be the only price change, and I’m totally open to discussion.)

- GOLD TIER (no change)

• Includes everything from Iron Tier

• + 512x resolution, which I now consider the primary HD version.
  (For real, 512x is more than enough. My personal favorite is still 256x.)

- PRISMARINE TIER (let’s rethink this together)

This is the tier I’ve been the most unsure about, and I’d love your help deciding what direction to take.

Right now, I’m considering two possible options for this tier:

Option 1 – Side Projects Access

You get access to the custom alternative packs I’ve been developing on the side, including:

• A Ghibli-style pack (handmade, cozy vibes — and of course, NO AI)

• A Mario Bros. pack (already in progress, and expanding)

• An 80s-style electronics pack (CRT monitors, old PCs, cable madness...)

These are creative side explorations I’ve wanted to share with you for years, fun, visual experiments (images in the Discord)... BUT I’ve already heard some of you say (rightfully) that this could slow down progress on the main NAPP pack. So I totally get the hesitation.

Option 2 – Block polls

Instead of side projects, this tier could become a decision-making tier:

• You get to vote on which blocks or features I should work on next

• Influence the direction of updates and priorities

• Maybe even suggest themes or textures that should get special focus

Basically, this becomes the steering wheel tier, you guide where things go.

- NETHERITE TIER

I’ve also been thinking about removing this tier, to be honest.

Right now, it’s mostly symbolic... it’s there for the absolute legends (4 of you!) who want to support more. But I don’t currently have anything special to offer at that level to justify the price, asides from my utmost gratitude...

So… I’m open to suggestions! Should we keep it? Kill it? Add something special? Let me know.

- CREATOR TIER

I actually think this one is really cool (and cheap for what it is). Only one brave soul has taken it so far, but i think he is quite happy (he already have his own pack in the Bedrock marketplace!)

This tier gives you access to:

• My full workflow

• All tools I use

• Guidance on how to make your own pack

• Or even bass lessons if you prefer, lol

I can keep making the 1024x version if you really want it… but I don’t see the point anymore, and I’d rather spend that time on something new and cool. That said, I want to hear your ideas and feedback, because I don’t want to mess this up.

The truth is, Patreon has been slowing down, and I’m working extra hours making animations and renders to push NAPP on socials and keep things alive.

I just want to thank every one of you who’s stuck with me through this. This project just turned 6 years old, and that’s wild. I really, truly appreciate it.
