Update - 01/01/2024

Happy New Year, and welcome to the first Patreon update of 2024! Now that 2023 is done and buried deep down with the worms where it belongs, let's start the new year with enthusiasm and a good pinch of hope.

I don't really have any personal goals for 2024, other than record a new album with my main musical project, but I do have a lot of things planned for Blackoath. For starters, I really want to be able to re-invest any extra cash I get into hiring writers on a more regular basis, so I can release more content, especially for games that are lagging behind (looking at you, Riftbreakers). Right now I'm super excited about Ker Nethalas (which was sent to KS backers last week), and Ruthless Heavens, Boundless Fate. I'm working on the stretch goals for Ker Nethalas, while at the same time wrapping up the character creation chapter for RHBF. I keep adding stuff to it, though, so I don't think I'll be done with it this week either. But I think it's going to be great, there are a lot of options for building your character but none of them when creating it, which allows you to make a new character in minutes. All you need to do is distribute Attribute scores (or use one of the existing matrices), choose a Lineage and Ancestry (or roll randomly), and pick a class. I can't wait to show it to you guys, I'm going heavy with the worldbuilding as well, which I think is what will set the game apart from other D20 games.

I've also uploaded the Demonic #2 and Under Ashen Skies files to DTRPG, so hopefully they'll be available later this month!  I'm very happy to be able to finally release these two books, they look pretty awesome!

So I guess that's it for this first update of the year, I don't have much to tell you guys because as you can see I'm super busy with fresh content. I want to thank you all once again for being here with me and supporting my work, it truly means the world to me and it's what keeps me wanting to create more cool games!

Happy 2024!
