General Update - Happy May Day!
Hey guys! I hope you're all doing fine these days, despite the ongoing situation. I just wanted to give you guys an update of what I've been doing lately.
I'm mostly working on wrapping up the Narrative Playbook supplement for Disciples of Bone & Shadow. This week I finished the new archetypes and I am now in the process of writing the scenario that players must go through in order to be able to become a Deathwileder or Deathbinder, the new archetypes that deal with Death Magic. I'm also making the maps myself so it's a lot of work, but it's moving along nicely and I hope I'll have it all done by next week. Meanwhile, the playtesting continues, and I keep tweaking rules here and there.
I am hoping to wrap the playtesting in about a month so the editing can begin. Then it's back to me to do the layout, so if everything goes as planned, by early July the book should be ready to print!
With the Narrative Playbook entering its final development phase, I'm turning my eyes back to Under Ashen Skies, the modern-day horror dungeon crawler inspired by Hellraiser and Silent Hill I was working on before deciding to concentrate on the Narrative Playbook. It's about 60% complete, with all of the rules written already; I just need to add lots of content! I'm pretty excited about this one because it has a very cool character progression system, and a very fast and lethal combat. Really different from my other games! I want it to play like a Diablo game, let's see how it turns out!
Last but not least, I am still working on the re-write of Escape from the Coven of the Setting Sun for Disciples of Bone & Shadow. This was a free brochure adventure released past year, but I like the setting and I think it could use a bit more deepness, so I've created some maps for it and added a few extra things. This should keep you busy until the Narrative Playbook comes out! It will be exclusive for Patrons, in case I didn't mention it before. It will be released in a week or two!
And that's it for now, thank you for your support and interest in my work! Let me know what you guys have been up to, or if you have any questions!
