Update - 25/05/2026
Hello, and welcome to another weekly update! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent it working, as usual, but on Saturday nigh we went out for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was nice!
Last week I've been working hard on getting the Noxian Reclaimers book for Machine Gods done ASAP. It's a lot of content, though; between Richard and I (mostly Richard, though) we've written over 20K words. It's actually too much, and I've taken out some tables from it and saved them for the Meridian Sovereign book. The actual reason I've done this, though, is because the type of tables didn't really match a book dedicated to character options. Things like expanded infections or expanded exploration tables feel more at home in a book dedicated to a swamp region, I believe. Despite taking out stuff, though, the book is going to be around 80-100 pages when done. Considering I was aiming for 40-60, this is definitely a lot of stuff! I'm almost done with the editing and have started with the layout, but unfortunately I will not be able to have it done for you guys this month. I will though give you the first half of the book later this week! Enough to get you started with the new classes and the lifepath character creation, which is honestly the most interesting and fun part of this book. You can spend hours just rolling new characters and seeing what happened to them. You can really push your luck and end up with a character that has extended their life via technology, end up becoming a hologram, having a camel friend, join a cult, and die a multiple of really interesting ways. There are literally thousands of possible combinations, lots of tables to roll on!
So this week I'll keep working on that, and trying to get as much of it done as I can. I should get the Kickstarter funds this week, so that's going to be great because I'll finally be able to pay Richard and Simone. I've also made good progress with the Foundry module, and it's almost ready. And I want to talk to Glynn to make the big Noxian Expanse map ASAP! So yeah, lots of things going on.
I also have some cool news: Last week I had a meeting with the GamesQuest guys (the largest RPG and boardgame fulfillment company) and I'm probably going to partner up with them for the Across a Thousand Hollow Vaults release. I think it has the potential to be big, and I've spent a lot of time, money, and effort on that game, so I want to see how far it can go. This would mean the book will be released in the same format and print quality as Across a Thousand Dead Worlds, which is fantastic. We would have friendly shipping for essentially all countries in the world, and even though it's a lot of work to get it all set up, it should really be worth the effort once I have it ready. It's super exciting news, and honestly quite nerve-wracking, because this could potentially change everything for me. We'll see!
So that's it for now, I'm going back to work. Have a great week!

Dude, take a break on the weekends at least!
It's fine, I have my daily routine and there's no reason to break it just cause it's the weekend, haha. And I occasionally go out, too!
