Update - 06/04/2026
Hello, and welcome to another weekly update! I hope you've all had a great week. This weekend I was just working as usual, focusing on getting as much done as I can. We did, though, have our monthly Grand Master live chat, and it was great! Thank you to those who dropped by, I appreciate it!
So these last days I've been completely focused on getting The Array Thicket for Machine Gods done. I am working my way through the descriptions of the three towns that will serve as your base of operations before heading into the dangerous forest. I want each one to feel as unique and distinct as possible, and so far I think it's working out that way. We have Orthogonal, which is the largest settlement in the region, built following the grid of the forest. There's a lot of social injustice in the town, and it has the feel of your usual frontier town, lots of riches flowing through it. Then we have The Hub, which is built within an enormous cooling vent, so it's all vertical, going deep into the earth. The people here have a strong sense of community, and are united by their worship of the local machine god. Last but not least, we have Vortex, which is the place where all the outlaws and escaped slaves hide. It is a chaotic place that follows its own rules, and it's largely a pain in the ass for the other settlements. Each town isn't as detailed as Voidspire, but they do have several pages of background, locations of interest, carousing tables, NPCs, and more. Lots of fun opportunities to be had there!
Once this is done, I'll move on to the section of the book that explains how to explore the forest, and what you can find there, and last but not least, the bestiary chapter. All in all, I expect this new book to be about 60-80 pages long, at least that's what I'm aiming for. I can't wait to have it done! Glynn has already started working on the region's maps, and once I get the Kickstarter funds (assuming it goes well), I'll have SImone work on the art. My funds are a bit low right now, so I hope it all goes well!
This week I'm hoping I'll be finally release Warren of the Ratkin. It's taken a whole year to do so, between one delay or another, so I hope it's worth the wait! I've also been outlining what comes next for Ker Nethalas, and it's going to be the bestiary, the Book of Horrors. I want every single creature in the game to have an illustration, but that largely depends on how the Machine Gods Kickstarter does, because it's not going to be cheap. We'll see!
So that's it for now, this week I'll continue my work on Machine Gods, and little else. Have a great one!

Nice progress, it's getting closer to completion.
It is! I hope to have it ready this month.
