Batman Begins |Movie Series Reaction

Another interesting fact I forgot to mention: A year before Batman Begins, Christian Bale was in a movie called The Machinist where he starved himself down to 120 lbs. and looked like a skeleton. When he got cast as Batman, Bale gained 100 lbs. of muscle in just six months (bringing him up to 220 lbs.) It's probably the craziest body transformation in movie history. You can look up pictures of Bale in The Machinist and compare them to Bale as Batman, and you'll be blown away by the difference.

When I first played this movie just for fun I didn’t realize what I was in for the soundtrack the cinematic views and the dialogue caught me off guard, I watched the next two movies right after and loved them, it only gets better. Bruce has so much depth as a person. The homeless guy who gets his jacket is an actor from my country and I didn’t know that until my parents told me when I made them watch this movie 🤣 I think you’d enjoy Tom Hollands Spider-Man franchise, 4 movies and very similar to these ones, deep character depth.

If you like the Dark Knight Trilogy then I highly recommend the tv show GOTHAM, it's about Bruce Wayne as a kid/teenager and shows origin stories of many of Batman's villains such as Penguin, Scarecrow, Joker, Poison Ivy etc. it was a great show that ran for 5 seasons.

Just something to mention like 90% of this was practical effects not cgi, when Nolan was asked how he did the cgi for batman on top of skyscrapers or hanging off the sides of buildings with his cloak billowing, or the batmoblie (batmans tank) bit, he was like "we made a tank and then filmed it and put a guy in the batman suit with the cloak on top of a skyscraper and filmed it"

I forgot how different Cillian Murphy is in this compared to his role in Peaky Blinders. Interestingly, Cillian Murphy originally auditioned for the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. The director didn't think he was right for the part, but loved his audition so much that he was cast in a different role instead. There's even footage online of Murphy's audition with him wearing the Bat suit. Morgan Freeman didn't get his first big breakout role until he was 50 years old, so that explains why he looks old in everything 😂

I'm happy you watched Harry Potter (and recently Friends), Peaky Blinders and Shawshank Redemption before watching Batman Begins. So you know Gary Oldman (love him so much) , Cillian Murphy and Morgan Freeman 😍
