A sincere update and message to the community.
Hi everyone, I am writing this to share a sincere update regarding the new CC I recently uploaded.
Since the release, I’ve been following the community's feedback and realized that the approach I took for this project has disappointed many of you.
To be transparent, I used AI tools during the process of preparing the graphic sources for this piece.
This was done purely out of a desire to experiment with new creative methods, and there was no ill intent.
However, I now realize that I did not fully consider what the use of AI sources means within this community, nor the "creative value" you expect from my work as a creator.
That being said, I would like to clarify a part of the process to avoid any further misunderstanding.
Except for the graphic sources in question, every part of the garment—from modeling to the base work—was meticulously crafted by me from scratch using Marvelous Designer, Blender, and Photoshop.
It breaks my heart that the garment I put so much effort into has lost its value due to my poor choice of graphic sources.
This experience has been a reminder of my responsibility as a creator, and I will be much more thoughtful in selecting every design element moving forward.
In response to your feedback, I have added a clean [Plain Version] without the graphics.
For those who were disappointed with the original design, please check the updated files now.
I am deeply sorry for letting down those who have always trusted and supported my work.
I will continue to reflect and strive to bring you higher-quality results that reflect true care and effort. Thank you.

이번에 업로드한 새로운 CC와 관련해 솔직한 이야기를 전해드리고 싶어 글을 올립니다.
이번 업데이트 이후 커뮤니티의 여러 반응을 살펴보며,
제가 이번 작업에서 선택한 방식이 많은 분께 실망을 드렸다는 점을 알게 되었습니다.
사실 이번 작업 중 그래픽 소스를 준비하는 과정에서 AI 도구를 활용해 보았습니다.
새로운 시도를 해보고 싶은 마음으로 시도한 것이였고 다른 나쁜 의도는 없었습니다.
제작자로서 AI 소스 사용이 커뮤니티에서 어떤 의미를 가지는지,
그리고 여러분이 제 작업물에서 기대하시는 '창작의 가치'가 무엇인지 깊게 헤아리지 못했던 것 같습니다.
다만, 혹시나 오해하시는 분들이 계실까 봐 조심스럽게 말씀드리고 싶은 부분이 있습니다.
문제가 된 그래픽 소스를 제외한 "의상의 모든 모델링과 베이스 작업"은
평소와 같이 마블러스 디자이너, 블렌더, 포토샵을 이용해 제가 직접 한 땀 한 땀 제작했습니다.
정성껏 만든 의상이 소스 선택의 미흡함으로 인해 그 가치를 잃게 된 것 같아 저로서도 무척 속상하고 아쉬운 마음입니다.
이번 일을 계기로 제작자로서의 책임감을 다시 한번 되새기며, 앞으로는 디자인 소스 하나까지도 훨씬 더 신중을 기하겠습니다.
여러분의 의견을 반영하여, 그래픽이 없는 깔끔한 [Plain Version]을 추가로 업데이트했습니다.
기존 디자인이 아쉬우셨던 분들은 지금 파일을 확인해 주세요.
늘 제 작업을 믿고 응원해 주시는 분들께 실망을 드려 죄송한 마음이며,
앞으로는 더 고민하고 최선을 다한 결과물로 찾아뵙겠습니다. 감사합니다.

I really dislike the bullying around AI. It is a tool, it has the same disruption potential that was put onto photoshop.
of course it is a tool, but it is harmful toward the environment and it's good uses are overshadowed by people making nonsense or cheating on their work. anyone choosing to use it for artistic purposes is contributing to the harm.
AI is a tool and exactly meant to be used for creative projects. Your CC is so amazing. Please try yourself out, use new methods and experiment around! Take care!

리밍님, 언제나 응원합니다. 리밍님의 작업물 덕분에 컴맹인 저도 처음으로 CC템을 사용하게 됐어요. 10년 넘게 모드는 한 번도 안 깔아봤는데, 지금은 리밍님이 만들어주신 옷을 입고 더 예뻐진 제 캐릭터로 즐겁게 플레이하고 있습니다. AI가 빠르게 발전하면서 어디까지 사용해야 하고, 또 어디까지 출처를 밝혀야 하는지 혼란스러울 수 있다고 생각해요. 그럼에도 불구하고 이 일을 그냥 넘기지 않고 사과하신 태도가 정말 중요하다고 느꼈습니다. 개인적인 생각이지만, 다른 사람에게 피해를 주지 않는 선에서 AI를 활용해 작업이 더 편해지고, 새로운 영감을 얻을 수 있다면 충분히 좋은 도구가 될 수 있다고 생각합니다. 앞으로도 계속 응원하겠습니다. 항상 예쁜 옷 만들어주셔서 감사합니다.
Regardless, I believe that people who use the work of others should at least have basic respect for their labor. It's fine to have different opinions, but at least you should communicate politely. If you think that questioning or even attacking the creator is normal or even something to be proud of, then I find it hard to understand.
i dont think people actually care about the use of ai and more about what ai currently reprosents: loss of jobs, how they maybe trained to use other peoples work, the reduced quality of the output, the creatoin half baked tools, and just the sheer incompetence of people using and understanding them. i think ai's should be refranced as a co authur since ai is just an autocomplet tool you both did some of the work. unless you just used it to generate inspo and nothing else then that should be totally okay to say its 100% your work

artists have always used tools, from the beginning it was live models, then images and 3d models. of course we all hate AI and the monsters that are ruining everything for their own greed (including that I CANT EVEN HAVE ENOUGH RAM BECAUSE OF THESE PIECES OF SHT OR UPGRADE MY GRAPHICS CARD!!!!!!!!!) but i dont think there will never be AI and tools are useful for saving time so long as we still use our unique human touch for the actual art.
Dear Rimings, I hope you are doing better. The reason why people are upset with AI usage is because it steals data from creatives like yourself and the creatives behind these artstyles and techniques are never compensated and their careers are even harmed by AI (and that's on top of the fact that AI is harmful to the environment). Your creations are so beautiful and to think that people with gifts that are as lovely as yours are being taken advantage of is upsetting. Even if the thumbnails were doodles we as your audience would still love the thumbnails. I bet the community would love to draw them and help out too if asked! :) Most of all your kindness and compassion to be able to reflect on the situation and not blame the people who showed negative feelings just goes to show how much you care about everything you do and are involved in, which includes your community! Honestly, your mental health and wellbeing is more important to me as a supporter, than if you choose to use AI resources. The Sims community can be harsh sometimes, especially on modders. I hope that you are doing well and not letting feedback negatively impact you. Thank you for all that you do for us!

Thank you for this! AI and its data centers (and the billionaires supporting it) are such openly evil, bad news. Please do not sacrifice your skill, creativity, and quality to them. They don't deserve it. I've joined up because I want to support fellow creators who don't use AI. And honestly, anyone who doesn't use AI and makes quality CAS content? Oh my lord. Just create as you like and want too. This fear of AI is starting to be manic. Its your creations, no one elses. AI is here to stay. I promise you that the ppl who is b**** about it is downloading stuff that was created with AI without even knowing it. If something makes it easier or actually better (in terms of graphics) just use it. Thats what its for. Do not let ppl bash you!

This is getting out of hand. Someone on Reddit was talking crap about a mod creator jayesims and how he supposedly uses AI in his mods with no actual facts or evidence to back it up. Just lies and rumors, basically everyone going along with it for the sake of it. I'm glad u are transparent about this but honestly who cares. It is no one's business just leave mod and cc creators alone to their work.
It’s no secret that he and many other new “modders” use ai to push out 40 traits every other day. I’m not sure why yall think it’s unnoticeable and no one can tell and i dont get why y'all get so irritated when people notice when it’s being used lol. If u don’t care and u like it then ok that’s u, but if someone is paying for a creators work they do have a right to know & it IS their business not everyone wants generated slop in their game 🤷♀️. i would much rather creators to come out and just say that they use it instead of lying behind a paywall like leosims & pixelvibes.

They are your creations. Don’t apologize. People have their own opinions but at the end of the day if they don’t like it they can scroll past. You have amazing work. And whether you use ai to make graphics or whatever it is it will never stop me from using your cc.
The best words of advice I can give is NEVER apologize for differences in taste. Once you give in, there will always be someone waiting to find something else to make you bow down for. So you used an AI tool to streamline the graphic design process? That's your creative right to do so. If people don't like that particular CC set, then that's on them. They don't have to like everything. People are so entitled these days. AI is here to stay, for better or for worse, people need to get used to it. Offering design critique is one thing, But jumping on a creator to the point she feels the need to post an apology - for essentially nothing - make me sad. Sorry this happened to you.
I do think it's prudent to inform that the issues people had aren't a "difference in taste". The issue is that AI tools are manufactured code from predatory companies that are purposefully disrupting the job market and using up finite resources like water and electricity. Yes, AI is here to stay, and it can be a valuable resource for freelance workers and companies, but it is currently implemented and unrestricted to the point of destroying people's careers and livelihoods, especially in creative fields, simply because it's "fast and cheap", regardless of how well it actually performs. Until there are better restrictions to control the abuse and oversaturation of AI online, independent creators should preserve their creativity to keep their brand and products away from the eyes of online AI tools, which will learn from and copy every image generated, uploaded, and downloaded using their tools. So people aren't being "entitled", they're trying to warn others (creators & artists) about the social and economic issues of using AI in its unrestricted state.

Your creations speak for themselves and you are amazing. Do what ever you want to do and just know that although it seems all of the sims community feels a certain way, it is really only a tiny fraction, they are just the loudest.
It's not a tiny fraction though. Most people would agree with creators not using or supporting AI, especially those in creative spaces. AI is harmful to creative communities everywhere and harmful to the planet itself. Unnecessarily contributing to AI usage is in poor taste. I would rather support artists using their own work than something generated by a computer. When stuff like this starts happening we stop receiving the personalization and humanness of things. It is not beneficial for our community in the slightest to allow creators to start using AI freely.
