What do I need to be able to open these to be able to add them to my mods folder? I download and then that's as far as I can go because the only option to open them is my media player.
I know I'm not the creator, but I think I can help a bit. You're not supposed to open them, you open your sims 4 folder and there should be a folder called "Mods", that's where you want to put them. Just copy or transfer the downloaded file and drag it into the Mods folder and release them there. In game you need to turn off laptop mode and have higher graphics setting for the cc to show up. Hope I helped at least a little :)
