BTTB 7 Base File + Core Slider V2 Prevent Game from Launching
Hi!
I recently received a report about Core Slider V2 preventing The Sims 4 from launching. I've tried my best to install any CC or mods that could potentially conflict with Core Slider, but I still can't reproduce the problem. I understand every player's game environment is different, so it might work for some players but not others.
If you are encountering the problem, in order to find its root, I would like to ask for a list of your Mods folder files for further diagnosis. Your information will be very helpful to improve BTTB 7 馃檹
I have attached a .zip file which contains a script that will automatically list every file inside your Mods folder. This could let me examine the potential conflict.
How to Use The Script:
Download the script to your computer.
Run the script.
If you are on Windows, double-click "Run_Sims4_BTTB_Diagnostic.bat" to run the script file or run it from the Terminal using .ps1 if you are familiar with PowerShell script.
If you are on macOS, double-click "Sims4_BTTB_Diagnostic.app" to run the script.
(If the operating system asks for permission to run the file, please click "OK" or "Allow.")
The script will generate a list of files and folders in your Mods directory as .txt files in the same directory as the script, or it will ask you for a location to save the output file if you are on macOS.
Share the results: You can share the output with me by sending an email to bank42n@gmail.com with the output file attached. You can optionally describe what problem you are encountering if you wish.
I can ensure the script runs safely within its working scope as it only reads your Mods folder, and you can review the code by opening it with a text editor. You can find the source code in the "sourcecode" folder for macOS and the .ps1 script for Windows.
For security reasons, please make sure to download script files from this post only.
I'm sorry to hear how much inconvenience my mods caused, and I truly want to fix it so this can reflect positively on the future collection of BTTB 7 as well.

when i go into CAS the slider does not work idk if i need one of the bottoms and the slider or just the slider... currently i have two of your default bottoms in game
I somehow experience as well but I manage to find what changes that I made that cause the game unable to launch. in my case it was BTTB 7 Bottom Collection 2 Curve No.1-8.
Its working when my sims are in human form- but does not appear when they are in fairy form - and does not appear in the WW menu for fairy form
To any player has the problem, "BTTB 7 Core Slider V2 does not prevent my game from launching, but it's not working in my game," can you submit the Diagnostic file as well? I have some clue, but I need more information to confirm. Thank you so much. 馃檹馃槶
BTTB 7 Core Slider Penis+Testicles by BANK42n - im still using this as i could not get to grips with the other one and this is flawless for me.
For me it was just that the file name was too long, once I shortened it, it worked like a charm if that may help some people
I'm afraid this might be the true problem. I went through some diagnostic files players submitted and tried to reproduce, and it actually broke my game. I will rename all my files to make sure it doesn't exceed the Windows path length limit. 馃ス
